“Just wanted to leave this review as I feel like this place deserves it. Had the full service here recently, from a skin fade to waxing, hot towel shave, very refreshing and reasonably priced. I would recommend this place and give it 6 stars if I could. I have been in pretty much every barbers in the area. I highly recommend getting the full service done, youll feel like a new man.”

“First time we had brunch at Fego Cobham, had a great experience. We arrived at 11:30am on a weekday, served immediately. The poached egg and smashed avocado on sourdough bread was ok, pretty standard, very filling. The Mexican-inspired Ranchero, on the other hand, was rather delightful: poached eggs, sautéed potatoes, chorizo, mushroom, jalapenos, smashed avocado, coriander yoghurt. A medium spicy, tomatoey flavour - just perfect! Generous portion as well. Highly recommend!”

“We had breakfast in Saturday morning. The waiters were very friendly and the place was quite busy. Prices are higher than in some other nearby restaurants, but the presentation and the decor is great. Hoping to come back again soon to try the dinner menu.”

“Room is newly refurbished and sparkling clean! Had a great stay here. The receptionist Kelly was very friendly and helpful however her manager (a guy with Indian accent, couldn’t catch his name) was quite rude and unpleasant to talk with, he was also not treating his colleague with respect.”

“This was my favorite pub. We spent a great deal of time and money there. Good friends made, both staff and locals. Unfortunately, the manager, has no class and a bad attitude. The Runner is on suspension, for me, for 60 days. If it ever happens again, I won’t spend another £ there. Reply - I am not about to Dox anybody. We love the food, atmosphere and friendships. The absolute majority of your staff is excellent. A little bit of tact goes a long way though, as opposed to a “Shoosh”. You should indeed have a conversation with managers about how they deal with people, especially some that drop 500 quid a month. Thanks, Ollie, Very Best. Update - The Running Mare has definitely upped their game. Give credit where credit is due. This is a wonderful place where You will find kind and interesting people. “Nice for a leisurely afternoon, offers a select menu, tea treats, cakes and drinks, including alcohol, we dropped in during the Christmas period and they do have a Christmas menu. Kids can play outside, and there is outside seating.”

“Christmas Eve dinner was fabulous. First time at the Fairmile and we had such a lovely and relaxing dinner. Staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Efficient and prompt food service. We were seated at the perfect quiet table with no other guests. A roast dinner can often be a rather drab affair with poor ingredients which ruins the whole meal or if the kitchen doesn't know how to cook it properly. This Christmas roast turkey was a very very good plate of food. Good quality ingredients. Roast potatoes cooked in goose fat - made a difference. The turkey meat was tender and juicy. All the vegetables and stuffing cooked to perfection - bear in mind this is in a pub not home cooked. To finish off - enjoyed the tasty Christmas pudding. Thank you to all the staff at the Fairmile pub for making our Christmas Eve dinner so greatly enjoyable.”

“Visited for a festive hot chocolate (and toblerone latte in my case) with the family on Christmas eve. Really appreciated being allowed to bring our spaniel in to sit in the back room. Hot drinks delicious and we also tried a white chocolate tiffin slice - pricey but a lovely treat!”
