The Hubb Restaurant
“Absolutely fantastic food and even better hospitality. As soon as we entered we felt welcome. We had a jug of passion fruit juice which was nice, if a bit sweet. For starters we had the nundu and the mogo. The mogo had a nice flavour and was a good consistency. The nundu was absolutely fantastic and I really recommend it. Traditionally it's just beef fat, however, as the server explained, you can't serve grilled fat on its own in the UK, so it had beef with it. It was so full of flavour and seasoned perfectly. For mains we had sukama wiki with ugali and charsi lamb curry with naan. The sukama had a lovely flavour and went well with the ugali. I tried the curry with the ugali and it didn't go as well. The curry was spicy but really rich. We had some karak chai to finish the meal and packed up everything we didn't eat. Our server was great - very friendly and knowledgeable - and I got the feel from the restaurant that they love serving people and making people happy with their food.”

Adams Cafe Restaurant Croydon

Bramleys Restaurant
“A lovely experience at Bramleys tonight. I really love the interior design and the little details that the owners have applied to this lovely restaurant. We were greeted warmly by the front of house which is so important to me when you are trying a new restaurant out. The food was exquisite. I had the warm goats cheese to start with. It was just the right amount of goats cheese with a balsamic glaze. DELICIOUS! Mains- lamb cutlets with greens which again were so tasty. To finish off we shared a Nutella cheesecake. I normally do not order desert but this has to be ordered. Will definitely go back. How can I not when I truly had such a lovely dining experience.”
Smooch Restaurant and Cocktail Bar
“We visited the restaurant last weekend and have to say it was amazing. The food was really delicious. I can’t drink alcohol and was extremely pleased with their tasty mocktails. We love steak so this will definitely be our new favourite place to go to from now on. The staff were very friendly.”
Yas Restaurant
“One of the best Persian restaurants I’ve been to. The portions sizes are more than big enough and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend the lamb shank, it was soft and melts in your mouth. Also the shisha was excellent. Will definitely come again.”
Chez Vous Restaurant
“A fantastic evening catching up with friends. The food was absolutely delicious and well presented. The staff were very helpful and attentive making our reunion extra special”
Salut! Restaurant Islington
“What better way to start the weekend than with excellent food in a pleasant atmosphere: In Salute! in Islington you can watch the food being prepared, while sitting in a pleasant place. We were served friendly, all wishes were fulfilled. It not only looks, it tastes fantastic. It is like in a fary tale! We will come back, to enjoy beautifully prepared food in a cosy space. HIghly recommended!”
Provender Restaurant
“We haven't been to Provender for some time. Our visit was definitely worth while! We were seated right away. All the staff was looking happy which is always good to see. Their marinated olives are really tasty. I went for the roasted celeriac and it was absolutely divine. Thank you for the great experience and we'll be back sooner than you think.”
Chapter One Restaurant
“5 star for everything! Maybe a little bit pricey for the size of the portions! 3 courses cost £70 that's with no drinks and including service charge. Baring in mind I had the vegetarian option which for that price sounds crazy! Otherwise food and service was really good, and a lovely atmosphere!”
Besi restaurant
“Can’t fault this place. Popped in for lunch and had their “special”. The mixed doner was excellent. The chicken was marinated and tasted much better than the usual bland stuff one usually gets. Service was top notch too with happy waitresses. Definitely recommended.”
Alec's Restaurant
“You cannot beat the atmosphere and the food here. From start to finish you will feel special. The food is exquisite and the drinks the same. The restaurant is so nice! Turn up early so you can enjoy the champagne bar!!”
Caspari Bar & Restaurant
“I had one of my favourite food and the service was very good restaurant was nice and clean. Perfect”
Ma Cuisine
“A cosy French resto in Kew! Their menu is written in English and offers elegant, tasty dishes such as roasted Barbary duck breast with cardamom jus and peach and lettuce. Their starters of rabbit and pork terrine with gherkins and raspberry vinaigrette .. simply delish! There’s outdoor seating and cosy indoor seating during winter. Interesting interiors, unusual French ambience. If you don’t have time for a Eurostar ride across the channel but you’re craving the delicacies of French cuisine, this is the place. Open for both lunch and dinner. On-street parking. Just a short walk from Kew station if coming by train. Strongly recommended.”
The French Tarte
“Went once for their afternoon tea and another time for brunch. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious, and the staff are warm and friendly even with how busy it is. If you’re going for brunch I would recommend getting there before 11 to beat the rush as it does get very crowded in there on the weekends.”
La Dame de Pic London
“Absolutely loved our lunch there. I've done a few of the 3 Michelin stars in London and I think La Dame de Pic is as good as those (if not better than some of them) even though it is a 2 stars. The whole experience was a delight from taste to presentation, including a very attentive service and a lovely setting/atmosphere.”
La Rioja London
“Great food, cakes and coffee with a good understanding of the need for double shot coffee. We had a lovely time here. Be back soon.”
Lytton Restaurant
“My wife and I recently found this restaurant on Bookable. We lived locally and wasn’t aware it even existed; we were not disappointed. We were greeted at the bar by smiley Waitress and offered a cocktail of the cocktail menu. They have just launched the Spring menu which looked really appetizing. I went for the salmon and the Lamb and my husband Risotto balls and the Hake, the food was well seasoned and very tasty. Just before we had finished the Chef came out and chatted to the tables which was nice, Barry or Baz as he asked to be called even told us he previously worked on the set of James Bond! After dinner we relaxed in the Bar, it was quiet but so cozy. We will return for our next date night.”
That's Amore Italian Restaurant
“Delicious food and very friendly and accommodating staff! Try it once and you’ll keep returning :)”
La Casa Restaurant & Grill
“We always come to this fabulous Italian restaurant when in the area. Food is delicious. Very generous portions and great service. I always try the specials on menu.”
La Familia Restaurant - Hampton Hill
“We travel from Sheen to go to La Familia as it's our favourite restaurant and has been for years, we even had our wedding reception there which was amazing. This evening we went for a quiet evening to celebrate my husbands 60th and found La Familia quite busy with several birthday party tables. The food was great as usual as was the atmosphere. Highly recommend.”
St James Restaurant
“Fantastic place for dinner! Went for a private event and food and service was at top notch standards. This local eatery managed to not only serve everyone's food promptly, but also wonderfully cooked and beautifully presented. Which is no mean feat when the entire restaurant is booked out and everyone is offering off the menu! There were friendly staff constantly offering drinks, and checking if we needed anything. They did this in an unobtrusive way and always with a smile. Toilets were clean and tidy. Parking was fine and there is a local car park less then 5 mins walk away.”
Melange Restaurant
“Good brunch place. Really enjoyed my toast with egg! It comes with a little yoghurt jar on a side. Love their squeezed juices.”
Patron Restaurant - Kentish Town
“This is now one of my favourite restaurants in London. We went there last night for my birthday dinner and it was absolutely fab. It was a Sunday so they have a slightly different menu to the one during the week and I was sad that I won't get to try the dauphinoise potatoes but they were still able to make them! Our waiter was very attentive and made us feel very welcome. I can't wait to be back”
Melange Restaurant
“Excellent service, friendly staff and absolutely delicious food! In particular the beef bourguignon was extremely delicious (according to my partner who is French!), the wine, starter (arancini) and tarte tatin dessert were also delicious. We will definitely be back! A hidden gem!!”
Coney's Cafe and Restaurant
“Excellent cafe I had the pancakes breakfast number 1 that came with pancakes bacon sausage hashbrowns scrambled egg and toast all beautifully cooked and super tasty. The cafe itself is very clean and tidy with very friendly helpfull staff. The menu is stacked with all foods from super health to super treats and also great milkshakes and beverages.”

Assos Restaurant - Steak, Wine and Meze House
“Have been here a few times, food, atmosphere, service is always on point. The staff always happy to help. Not a long wait for food or drinks.”
Otto's French Restaurant London
“French charm, exquisite cuisine, great service. It feels almost like a time travel. It takes you to good old times, somewhere in Paris. The noise of the city is left outside. Nice and cozy interior. Attentive staff. Top quality French cuisine. Feels very authentic. They do Canard de Rouen a la Presse, which is quite rare these days. I had their signature Simmenthal beef tartare. It is skillfully prepared at the table. We had it medium spicy and it was out of this world. The taste, the texture is just a perfection. I also ordered Agneau en Croûte or Lamb Wellington which was an absolute delight. Another dish mastered to a perfection. At one moment I had an illusion of being a jury member at the French cuisine competition and served with a champion dish. Wine list is well balanced and I liked it had some fine half-bottles as well. The only remark I have is for the plateau de fromages. I wish the selection of cheese could be even better. My strong recommendation for anyone looking for an old fashioned small French restaurant in London. And sincere thanks to the team.”
