“Amazing location, just opposite Bromley south station! Staff were very friendly, generous and caring! Food was phenomenal, portion sizes were very generous ! Very luxurious and atmospheric inside, feels like a very expensive restaurant but all the prices are very good and reasonable for what portions you get! Music was good, not too loud, so we could still talk amongst ourselves, We went on their opening day and for their first day it was a very good experience, I would for sure recommend this place to anyone! I’ll for sure be back again, not once, not twice but many times in the near future!”

“We were visiting family in the area and happened across this lovely café. Very friendly owner & staff. We were so impressed on our first visit that we ate lunch there the following day too. Both days the food was lovely. Great choice of deli style sandwiches/rolls - we chose ciabatta - and the fillings were plentiful, fresh and a bit different to the usual run of the mill sandwiches offered in many other cafés. We also tried their eggs benedict which were cooked to perfection. Fruit smoothies were also terrific. They also offer cakes & pastries. Very reasonable prices too. We highly recommend Chai With Friends. Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed.”

“New owners, been here twice now, very impressed. They was just closing up when I arrived tonight (5/4/22) but they were happy to let me in. The chicken is f**king amazing. there are no other words! Chips equally as good, next time I'll have some fish. Staff really friendly. Great decor too and spotlessly clean. I've lived in the area for 40+ years and will be coming here much more. “Not vegan but we visited this café a few days ago and had a fantastic lunch. Two really delicious salads with pitta bread and roast (??) veg. Meant to take a pic of food but ate it all so a pic of empty plates instead. : ) There are also sausage rolls and paninis. There are lovely cakes too and I loved the vanilla cheesecake . Everything freshly prepared and cooked. Very clean place and friendly staff who are happy to explain vegan food. Would be nice if they had something written down explaining more about vegan food though; meat substitute salad dressings etc.. Don't be put off by vegan food - its delicious! Will be back soon.”

“Such a wonderful place to enjoy a coffee or a bite to eat. Atmosphere is cosy and friendly, coffee is always good and served with a fresh carafe of cucumber water. Amazing selection of fresh made breakfast/brunch or lunch dishes which you will struggle to choose from because of the wonderful choices on offer. Today I really enjoyed their smoked salmon, scrambled egg and crushed avocado on sourdough toast with dill dressing. It was so tasty. The smoked salmon wasn't too strong or too salty, the scrambled egg was not over cooked but moist and soft and the dill dressing was not in anyway overpowering, which was fantastic because I'm not a great dill fan. I've also heard (but as of yet not experienced) their weekend tapas evenings are really delicious and looking at their selection of wines on offer it looks like something I definitely need to try. All in all I'd recommend you give it a try because I know you won't be disappointed. Oh and to top it all the staff are lovely.”
