“This is a very historic yet humble place, reflecting the origins of the area, it's geography (a valley between the nearby hills), how it adapts to community needs and withstands tides of times and changes of ideology. It is a polling station, an adults services, kids taekwondo, and an auxiliary to a nearby Weston Park Primary, and a birthday and a wedding venue. It had been a family-friendly public restroom for users of Stationers Park (always clean, stocked and tidy) (though occasionally the doors are locked), source of fruit-veg deliveries from nearby farms to urban dwellers, and a habitat of gnomes. The only thing it does not do is clean the dog poo from the streets and host a dog toilet.”

“We had a fantastic stay. We used it as a base to visit the Harry Potter studio tour which was only a ten minute drive away. The hotel was beautiful and clean and staff very helpful. The room was kitted out with a little fridge so my youngest could have her yoghurt in the morning. Breakfast staff very accommodating to my 2 excited children and because it was my sons birthday we even got an extra treat in our room and a birthday card for him which made his day. Short walk to town centre and Watford train station so will come again for London trip next year!”

“Have used the soft play with my nephew a couple of times . I have say that the gentleman who was on the reception desk was so kind. He saw that I was heavily pregnant and bought me out a chair to sit whilst my nephew played. The chairs had been removed due to Covid but he made an exception. It was such a kind gesture and can’t thank him enough.”

“A good university gym that has everything I need for a workout. The gym has been temporarily relocated while the main building is being renovated, but there is a much reduced membership (£10-£15 per month) in the meantime as the gym area is smaller and there are less machines. I don't use them, but there are also fitness classes. Convenient to my workplace, modern machines, not too busy during the day. Looking forward to when the renovations are finished. Gym is available on PAYG (Hussle app), but better value to do a full membership while prices are reduced.”
