“Sam is an absolute legend and knows his stuff. Went in here a week and a half ago needing to buy 6 or so bottles of wine to host a wine club with friends. I gave Sam the brief of what kind of experience I was looking to drive with my mates and he delivered! I was hosting a blind tasting with an elimination format and I wanted 3 bottles of Riesling and 3 bottles of Pinot Noir. It was important for me to have each bottle come from different countries, with characteristics that may trip people up, and at a classic high, medium, low price point. Sam took me around his shop, he explained what made each bottle unique, and how it would compare to the others. I walked away feeling really confident I had a good selection and a couple of nights later, so did my friends - bravo Sam, bravo. Thank you for helping me host my first wine club.”

The best highlight was our server, Hafize. She was so thoughtful and kind, but also took her time to develop a personal connection with us. My girls adored her too, she was so sweet with them. We left with our bellies and hearts full!”

I ordered the harrington outdoor sofa and chairs in the summer which were delivered promptly and are fabulous. I am looking to replace my kitchen in the near future and will definitely be having Neptune... I have considered much more expensive options but I think Neptune are fabulous value for money and exceptional quality. compared to Martin Moore kitchens the product is every bit as impressive but around a third of the price!!”

“The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive. We stayed the night for an anniversary weekend in London. Upon arrival they upgraded our room which was a lovely surprise. The room was amazing, the spa was a hidden gem and breakfast was very good too. All for a reasonable price. I would recommend.”

“Shiny new hotel in a convenient but remarkably quiet location. While the ground floor is painfully hip in the evening, the rest of the building is very comfortable with excellent design. I was in a "snug" room which was perfectly adequate in size for a couple of nights, and indeed was bigger than some London hotel rooms I've been in. The bed was super comfortable and there were even a few interesting books in the room. Breakfast was excellent - freshly made and very tasty. Receiption staff were brilliant - friendly and efficient. Immediately stopping whatever they were doing to address the clients at the desk with a bg smile, something that many other hotels should learn from. I had a delicious cocktail in the rooftop restaurant, again with fantastic staff. Only request would be to remove or put the curtains to the side so we could enjoy the amazing view. Only off note was the ground-floor hostess looking around the almost empty restaurant/bar area at breakfast and telling me that guests are recommended to book tables for breakfast. There were at least sixty open covers, and I have never been told that by any of the many hotels in which I've stayed. I will definitely be returning as I really like this new entry to the London hotel scene.”

“An amazing meal. Loved just being able to share lots of dishes. There was not one dish that we didn't enjoy. As a main dish it was really good but I thought £22 for the courgette main plate was a little punchy. Pork Belly was my fav.”

“A very very lovely place. I feel so calm when I go here. So my sister discovered Zen Mondo just passing on the street, because of little pots in the window with little black cats on. And little pottery classes on Sundays was advertised and a Japanese restaurant Mon-Sat. So we went to make little pots! And it the most calming, enjoyable hour I've had for a long time. Just 12 people in the little restaurant turned pottery room. 2 weeks later we picked up our little pots and also came for dinner. We ordered 2 types of Green Tea in those satisfyingly heavy iron tea pots, miss soup (gf) sashimi, I highly reccomend the marinated mackerel, avocado and salmon seaweee rolls and udon noodles bowl. Definitely going back.”

“This lounge/ restaurant is amazing. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, the shisha quality is the best I have ever had and I have been to a number of places. “This was my favorite pub. We spent a great deal of time and money there. Good friends made, both staff and locals. Unfortunately, the manager, has no class and a bad attitude. The Runner is on suspension, for me, for 60 days. If it ever happens again, I won’t spend another £ there. Reply - I am not about to Dox anybody. We love the food, atmosphere and friendships. The absolute majority of your staff is excellent. A little bit of tact goes a long way though, as opposed to a “Shoosh”. You should indeed have a conversation with managers about how they deal with people, especially some that drop 500 quid a month. Thanks, Ollie, Very Best. Update - The Running Mare has definitely upped their game. Give credit where credit is due. This is a wonderful place where You will find kind and interesting people.
