They said I’ll get my food in about 20 minutes, it only took them 10. And the food was outstanding again. So a huge huge huge thumbs up from me. 5 out of 5 The only thing you should think about before visiting is to bring cash as they only accept cash.”

“I've come and visited a friend of mine that I don't see that often and she has only ever had take away from Spirit Fire before but I wanted a sit down curry so she recommended we go here. Omg!! Amazing service, friendly accommodating and patient. Amazing presentaction and the food was amazing. I live in Dartford and I would make my way out here just to enjoy another meal here again. “A brilliantly friendly pub, with very welcoming staff. We had the best time on Christmas Eve with a large group of adults and children in their beautiful garden. Food was delicious, staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful, and the atmosphere was amazing. Can't wait to come back for more of the same, thank you all.”

“I enjoyed a lovely lunch meal and service. Prices are great here for what you get I would say, certainly not too expensive. My Nephew ordered the Iskender Kebab, and I ordered the Chicken Beyti which came with rice and salad. We had a little more than half, and we were both full, although it was delicious, we couldn’t finish off. Service was fast, but nothing to really complain about. Initial wait time was good, the service and staff were not too pushy but did come and ask us if we needed any help from time to time.”

“We placed an order on Deliveroo and the restaurant was closed but it still went their to deliveroo. So as the order got delayed I gave the restaurant a call and the owner fulfilled our order. Unknowingly the restaurant was closed! So he literally turned on his wood fire oven to fulfil our order. I mean, this truly is dedication to providing high service level. The pizza was amazing. As a first time client I will definitely remember this and I will come back and recommend this place wholeheartedly!”

“Got there quite late close to closing time and they still accommodated us. None of the food was rushed and it all had FLAVOUR, something that Pelican State did not have! The sauces was on point. Only gripes was that the mixed starters could've had bigger and a tad more scallops and a metal crab cracker. Other than that, I was fully satisfied and I will definitely be going back. Very good for local seafood lovers.”

“The room is clean and everything else is neat, tidy too. I only write this review because of other low rated review that was written before and I was worry before I come BUT NOT anymore after I am staying right now on July 2022. Everything is great especially with this price. They even put microwave and refrigerator that I don't see it in my Marriott Hotel that I stayed last week. For your information, it is a little far from train station and NO air condition for American. Other than that I can't ask for more with this price that is around the same as HOSTELS and NEARER to London than other cheap motels, hotels with your own clean room.”
