Easy meal in London

“We had a fantastic stay. We used it as a base to visit the Harry Potter studio tour which was only a ten minute drive away. The hotel was beautiful and clean and staff very helpful. The room was kitted out with a little fridge so my youngest could have her yoghurt in the morning. Breakfast staff very accommodating to my 2 excited children and because it was my sons birthday we even got an extra treat in our room and a birthday card for him which made his day. Short walk to town centre and Watford train station so will come again for London trip next year!”

“Lovely hotel, good travel facilities, nice staff especially the young lady on night duty who was so cheerful and helpful in the early hours of christmas morning. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. When I initially booked in August was advised there was no restaurant Christmas day, however I did make an additional booking for breakfast on Boxing day. What a shame they don't do a Christmas break as I would definitely book .”

“Amazinggg!! My partner ordered the rose flavoured cake for me this week to celebrate valentines’s day. It was delicious and so soft and the tender. Right amount of sweet and felt so fresh.”

“You can always count on Chun Easy Thai for tasty food! It is delivered quite quickly on uber eats and the prices are worth it considering how good it tastes. Although it is not mega authentic it is 100% better than the slop you get served in some East London places. The Pad Thai, Green Curry and Tom Yum soup were all delicious and even the Wonton soup is great. Will always order from here.”

“Iceland is special for those couple of frozen goods to stack the freezer. Love their hot and spicy wings. Frequent good deals on soft drinks which is a big plus for me”

“I went in to Iceland today, my ms was giving me trouble so was draining to shop and get buses. Some angel of a lady who works there I think her name is Laura but not 100 percent noticed I wasn't right plus noticed I was upset and this beautiful human being offered to pay for a cab for me , what a kind caring and compassionate lady we had a moment and I will never forget her heart. I declined the cab but the amazing man who stands by the door pushed my trolly to the bus stop. I jst want to say thankyou I Will remember your empathy and kindness and just want to let you know your both amazing ❤️”

“Lovely calm welcoming atrium. Just perfect after a stressful day. The room was spotlessly clean with the basic. We ate in the Thyme restaurant which was a pleasant ding experience. Our waiter Nico was very friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and very good value for money. Breakfast the following morning was also very good. Would recommend to friends.”

“Wife and I stayed one night to be at Heathrow for next morning's flight. We were very pleased - yes, I'll say surprised - by the quality of our brief stay. Room was immaculate. Dining (1 evening and 1 breakfast) exceeded our expectations; good selection, well-prepared, tasty. There are two bars on site, each was well organized and very pleasant. The front desk person even gave us a pictorial step by step map, showing how we would walk next morning from hotel to Heathrow tube to Terminal 5. That was much appreciated. As someone who (before COVID) business traveled frequently, my experiences and thus expectations for airport hotels were quite low. This hotel FAR EXCEEDED those expectations! Keep up the fine work!”

“Cannot recommend this hotel enough! Firstly when arriving to the hotel we arrived a hour before check in and they kindly let us check in early as the room was ready. Room was lovely and clean and heating was great during this winter weather. Receptionists we’re friendly and helpful. Definitely 5 stars for me. Lovely area too! Would stay again!”

“Gorgeous hotel. Stayed for 10 days to have somewhere to work that was quiet. Beautiful rooms. Only issue I had was house keeping coming in 3/4 times a day even though I’d told them that I was busy working but at least you know the rooms are definitely cleaned daily!”

“Nice cozy and clean rooms at the heart of market. Ample of shops, superstores (Morrisons and Sainsbury's local) and restaurants nearby open till late night. The nearest tube station is wood greens which is 15 mins from Kings Cross. If you are looking for a no frills room to sleep after a long days work, try this out.”

This place is one of the most well known in this area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely won't be let down. Superb location within London for theatres and many other attractions. Hotel was very clean and all staff were attentive and helpful. Own restaurant on the site for wonderful breakfasts and a varied and reasonably priced lunch and dinner menu. Nothing negative to report and highly recommended.”

“Joe and Ann where brilliant every time they where on shift so polite and got everything we ordered to the t the other people where clueless to what they actually had to do no offence the dude that thought he was a big man was to rude and arrogant and so far up his a…. I personally would highly recommend joe to be some sort of manager as he take his jobs seriously and is a top bloke”

“Lovely hotel, staff friendly and helpful. Rooms luxurious, clean and comfortable. Location amazing, easy to get by a variety of different transport options. Food and drink good, slightly pricey but your in London.. Didn't get chance to see and use all it's facilities but will try to when I hopefully return, can't wait.”

“Best place to stay in London! Simply can't say enough good things about this hostel! The staff are friendly, kind and very accommodating. The rooms are clean and there's free lockers under every bed (bring your own lock). There's lots of bathrooms, also very clean. Best of all, there's an awesome pub just downstairs that really comes alive at night. It can get a little noisy with the live music at night, but the staff give you a really good quality pair of earplugs upon arrival. Don't let the noise bother you though, go downstairs and join in! The environment is very inviting and you immediately feel at home! This is a great hostel to make new friends and meet people from all around the world. Thank you all so much for such a great stay, will definitely be returning!”

“We stayed here for the ABBA Arena, as it was an easy taxi ride there and a much better area to stay in. The DLR station into the centre of London is a 4 minute walk from the hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was very good and the staff were all friendly. We found the price to be very reasonable and we even got a room upgrade on arrival!”

“We went to the Blakes hotel restaurant last Saturday night without a reservation. We were greeted warmly then treated with delicious food and excellent service!!! Simone was our waiter and he served us brilliantly while regularly coming over to check that everything was okay during our meal - which it always was. Marta is one of the managers there and was excellently attentive while also ensuring that our experience was formidable. Classy, sophisticated, delicious with impeccable standards and service!”

“Great hotel overall, good location and good rooms. We didn't use any room service so I can't value it. Air conditioner is not regulable so I cannot choose air power and it's very noisy, but not as noisy as the fridge, which makes very loud random weird sounds, not letting me sleep well. Small old TV with not much technology, just including some basic channels and nothing else. Bathtub has a curtain, which is pretty old and weird to see as it's not very sanity-friendly, but it's cheaper, of course.”

“Just had nasin goreng, singapore fried noodle, chicken chow mein and a salt and chilli spare ribs. Food was so nice. If i wasnt so full i would eat it all again especially the nasin goreng. They also enforced covid measures.”
