KOTHU SRI LANKAN RESTAURANT & BAR
“Best devil potatoes in a long while. Great food and price. The visit here following a long day that included spending time at St. George’s A&E saved the day.”
Lalibela Ethiopian Restaurant
“The best ... The flavours, textures and aroma were so well balanced in our meal . Fantastic value for money . Very satisfying , unfortunately . I didn't leave room for dessert, as the food , as well being scrumptious , was deceptively filling ... Not to mention friendly and welcoming staff... The plain fabric floor to ceiling screens between tables added an intimate ambience ... I shall pay a return visit as soon as....”
Somomo Eritrean and Ethiopian Restaurant
“There Awaze Tibs Anjera and fresh salad is always on point. We always get the dry fry beef too as a top-up.”
Barge East
“The tasting menu was an incredible experience, the food was so interesting and fresh from their garden. We came on a Sunday and the roasts were fantastic. We will really well looked after by faith, thank you! Wine pairing really well done also.”
O'Cha Thai, London
“Great choice for takeaway, but we decided to have a sit in meal in this small and cosy establishment. Wonderfully fun ladies cooking and serving us. And the food was delicious and authentic. My friend's beef Pad Thai was a little chewy, but my beef Masamam was excellent and succulent. They just need to bump up the 3 star hygiene rating to draw in more punters.”
East Street by Tampopo Fitzrovia
“Just passing, looked a good place so we went in. Not disappointed in any way. The staff were all attentive and we were soon seated and a drinks order taken. We shared a spring role starter ,there were 6 and it came with a tamarind sauce, nice presented on a leaf ... not the best but good enough. The mains were pad-thai I had prawns and the Royal version, wrapped in a omelette. Very nice, great taste and good spice levels. Drinks were not very cheap ,but that's Central London. Yes would go back.”
OKAN Brixton East
“Good atmosphere for Sunday evening, our recent experience at Okan Ramen on Coldharbour Lane was the best so far, and its certainly one of Brixton’s culinary assets from a Locals perspective. Its a great place to eat whether dining solo, in a group or pair, and the foods reasonably priced in my view. The ramen was perfectly balanced in flavour, and I definitely recommend the classic ‘Hokkaido Miso Ramen with Chasu Pork’. The others enjoyed their vegan ramens. Its worth getting the japanese tapas as well, which are served quickly before, go for any of the ‘Gyoza Dumplings’ alongside the delicious ‘Padron Peppers’. The drinks were decent, I had couple glasses of white white, enjoyed the Grand Cerdo Blanco (ABV 12.5%), the others were drinking the beer on tap. I was also glad to see the original decor has remained in place. I have always liked the restaurant interior here, with its rudimentary no-thrills presentation contrasted by the classic wooden partition and weathered concrete floor. That mixed with the charming retro japanese memorabilia gracing its walls and the intimate setting makes it worth the visit alone. Not forgetting the refreshingly good service, which can be rare to find in most restaurants. The japanese waitress was really nice and helpful, it made the dining experience super pleasant. The chef also brought out the dishes, which were all decently presented and flavoursome.”
Tonkotsu East
“Best ramen I have had in a while! Managed to amend my ramen slightly for a different broth. The plain ramen was a bit disappointing and needed a lot of extras to make it tasty but the chili pulled chicken was on point, would recommend!”
OISOI Restaurant & Bar(Elephant & Castle,London)
“We had an absolutely excellent tasting menu and superb and very friendly service today which was universally praised by the whole family. If they get any better once fully opened and with a full menu available this is going to be an exceptional restaurant and superb addition to the manor. Highly recommended!”
Pistachios In The Park Cafe - East Greenwich Pleasaunce
“What a hidden treasure. We live around here but this is our first time visiting. I just had what might be the best quiche I've ever had. It just melts in your mouth and makes feel at home. The salad was fresh and perfectly seasoned and salted. Can't wait to come back to try other items on the menu.”
The Plough, East Sheen
“Very lovely staff, dog friendly and a nice atmosphere. Emma was serving us, the pub was completely booked up/ reserved however she made room for us by pushing tables together which we all appreciated for us to have afternoon lunch together.”
East London Gymnastic Centre
“James was the most lovely, welcoming and accommodating person that went above and beyond to help us.”
Premier Inn London City (Aldgate) hotel
“What great staff in this Premier Inn. Lovely rooms, breakfast is lovely too. Cannot recommend staying here enough. We are just home after a lovely two days staying in a family room. Super clean rooms and very comfy beds. Thanks to all the staff. So friendly and welcoming. Every staff member we met were so lovely. Will definitely stay here again. Close to explore what London has to offer with the underground and Bricklane so close too. A great vibe here too.”
The Gantry London, Curio Collection by Hilton
“The hotel is really beautiful. The front desk is very helpful and professional. I will share with you one of the examples which reflect the professionalism of the reception. I asked for a taxi from my hotel to the airport through the reception and when the taxi arrived asking about me, the reception start asking different questions to the driver to assure that the taxi is not fake which I really like it from the hotel reception. Going to the hotel room: The size of the bed is enough for two adults and the bed is comfortable. The room size is good compared with other London hotel as most of London hotels room are small. The location of the hotel is in a new area and little bit far away from the most attractive area (30-40 minutes by underground metro) however the underground metro is just 5-10 minutes walking distance. The hotel area is safe, the hotel is just two minutes away from Westfield mall which has a big supermarket and many restaurants and shops. I really enjoyed in this hotel.”
Aparthotel Adagio London Stratford
“The hotel was great and very convenient. Relatively new and that shows. Everything in perfect condition. Nice size appartement which was easily kept at a nice temperature. The biggest plus was the great staff at the reception . They were so friendly and helpful. That made the real difference.”
Premier Inn Harlow East (Church Langley) hotel
“I love coming here with my family, as it brings back nostalgic memories of living around here. Lovely rooms and staff who will always welcome us. I would love to thank the kind gentleman who helped me with my heavy suitcases aswell. Lovely place to take family and kids as the noise level is always low so you don't have to worry about getting your sleep in.”
Franco Manca East Dulwich
“Favourite pizza chain! Love the sourdough base and that they have a very good white pizza on the menu! I feel that the size has shrunk or that there are fewer toppings but the pizzas are still good value for quality. Came here a few times for dine in and take away. One time they accidentally gave me someone else’s order. I didn’t realise until I got home. Got a call from the manager to apologise and help us sort out everything. Great customer service!”
Brothers 2 Restaurant
“Best Somali food in the UK. I would give it 6 stars if I could! Tasty fresh home cooked food, and very reasonable prices. Friendly staff! Thank you”
Zara 1 Restaurant & Takeaway
“A humble restaurant in West London (Hayes) that offers a great tasty Pakistani food for a low budget. The food is spicy, I always go for "Chicken biryani" as It's my favourite and It's only for £3. I would recommend you to go there around 4:00pm or 9:00pm to be served quickly without any need to wait, unlike midday, you'd be waiting in a massive queue while you wouldn't find any space where you can eat in as well. (This has been my favourite Pakistani restaurant since my first day in London back in 2018).”
East Restaurant
“Restaurant hidden away next to a asian wholesaler. Restaurant is very spacious and we did not book just walked in as plenty space available. The service from the staff is 5* very professional team. Food was amazing and came hot. Free ample car parking on site in a secure car park.”
Samad Al Iraqi Restaurant
“At the first sight from outside the restaurant, it was already enticing to come and dine. When I tasted the food, there was no regret and we really enjoyed. It was our first time to eat Iraqi cuisine and the food was excellent! We tried the lunch deal and I can say the value for money was great. The staff were so accommodating and very polite! They have also given us some complementary tea which was amazing with the Muhallabia. I will definitely come back.”
Orit Ethiopian Restaurant and Bar
“Amazing authenthic Ethiopian cusine made with love. All meals served with Enjera which is an ancient gluten free flat bread full of vital nutrients. I recommend special kitfo and lega tibs for meat eaters and ya tsom beyaynatu which is a platter of different vegetable dishes. Prices are reasonable. Great service and a warm welcoming enivironment.”
Al Basha Restaurant
“The best hummus and shawarma you’ll ever eat in London. The servers also speak in a great manner and are lovely. The atmosphere is like entering a 5 star restaurant in Egypt BUT it’s priced very well. Overall it’s the greatest middle eastern restaurant you’ll ever step foot on. No need for pictures of the food I’ll just leave this here.”
Mudmee Thai Restaurant
“2 course meal with bottle of wine cost less than £50 per head. They have Thai wine which is good taste. Huge volume, great taste and good service. Won't let you disappointed.”
MEATliquor Restaurant East Dulwich
“Meat Liquor. Amazing. Took my girlfriend for the first time to this spot. And even she was WOWed! The service was just as good as the food too. It was my birthday and everyone at Meat Liquor acknowledged it was. He looked after us and gave us too which was very endearing. We will be back 10/10.”
