“Was looking for a local cafe for a vegetarian breakfast with good reviews, we were originally going to another cafe but luckily we decided to try this little gem! We were warmly greeted and seated quickly (given we are in the midst of COVID19). We were given paper menus and all the tables were socially distance well with a track and trace QR code on the door too. It was really well protected and safe for the patrons of the cafe. Our order was taken and we were served an amazing fresh breakfast with a tea each, for me it was a perfect portion (not too much and not too little) and filled me up. Refills were free which was great value given that they came free with our breakfast. The food is fresh and tasty and I highly recommend the vegetarian to fellow veggies or those wanting a leaner option. The hostesses were all friendly and lovely people, from a little chat when ordering to a joke when paying, it made this little cafe pop out and make it feel more like you were at a friends or family members kitchen for brekkie. I only have praise for the ladies (didn’t see any men but if there was them too). Cost was shockingly low and when we were presented with the bill I thought something was missed off but I was told nope that’s all it is, I will be going back for all the reasons listed above. Plus at this price it makes it hard to even make my own brekkie for less. Highly recommend this to all and remember to tip and support these business in these times, they are going above and beyond to keep us safe. Huge thanks to all of the hostesses (and hosts)!”

“Wow, what a perfect venue and brilliant team. This is my second visit to The Station Pantry and both times it’s been for an evening celebration. Highly recommend private hire for any type of celebration as lots of different options available. Food is fantastic and so much to choose from, drinks are great and reasonably priced. “Our first time at the Jobbers Rest. I booked a 3 course meal + wine courtesy of a freebie virgin experience and from the moment me & OH arrived, we were made welcome. Ordered cheese soufflé with sauce & beetroot terrine to start, confit duck dauphinois potatoes French beans & carrots & trout with brown shrimp potato rösti, then sticky toffee pudding ice cream & pistachio soufflé & ice cream. Even the house red was very good. Cappuccino’s were good too. All courses were beautifully prepared & cooked, especially the pistachio soufflé. The service was as good as in a top class restaurant, attentive but friendly. A special shout out to Lee, our waiter, what an excellent job he’s doing, paying close attention to everything. We’re looking forward to returning very soon. Would really recommend.”

“We had a lovely family meal at Ginger Lounge Indian Restaurant. The food was excellent, very tasty and the service was excellent. My meal was the Bombay Sizzling Tava which is shown in the picture. Surprisingly it was not hot and spicy which is what I was expecting but very flavoursome and really quite mild. We have had a few meals here and enjoyed every meal.”
