“Authentic gem and a great find. Came across this place and caught my attention as it was clearly the busiest of all market stalls with a constant queue of people. After trying their food, I understand why! Food was cooked to order so was fresh and hot. I recommend the rice with pork. Banh mi was also great. Could do with more tables and chairs but only because it is so busy, but for all the right reasons.”

“This was our first visit as we were just visiting the area for a few days. It was absolutely fantastic. The ambience of the place is amazing and the food is so delicious, fresh and authentically Lebanese/Arabic. The portions were very generous and we just could not stop eating. The bread was freshly baked and so tasty. Amazing service from the lovely staff Levi and Ali who were very welcoming and professional. A very special thanks to the chef, Hani. We wanted a couple of things changed on the dishes we had ordered and we did not mention this before until we were served with our food. However, the chef gladly accommodated this and brought back our dishes exactly like we wanted and with a smile. Couldn't have had a better meal. He even made a special dessert for us which was just so tasty and mouth watering that we ordered another portion to take away with us. Please make sure you add this to your menu? Highly recommend.”

“Simply the best place in SW London for authentic Japanese sushi and sashimi. Have been coming here for 20 years (back in the day when it was called Miura Foods.) Excellent quality fish. Great staff. Open through the majority of our COVID lockdown providing the people of Kingston with delicious Japanese food.”

“I ordered without reading the menu properly and was expecting a falafel wrap but what came was this delicious flavourful falafel box with really nice balance of flavours. Tasted really good and also felt like I was being healthy!”

“My husband and I are so pleased to see L'Assaggino opened in Kingston after our lovely experience at the Richmond restaurant. The staff at lunchtime today were very pleasant and helpful, the menu was varied & interesting and the food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced considering the very high quality of it; the wine we chose was so nice we wanted to buy some to bring home. We look forward to returning to what could well be our new favourite local. Well done to the whole team there, we wish you all continued success.”

“This place was great! Authentic German restaurant with nice outlook over the river. Wait staff dressed accordingly and everyone was very welcoming. It’s very meat based (as would be expected) but they have some veggie/vegan options which my friends enjoyed. I had sausages, mash and sauerkraut which was yum! And of course all the beer and wine is German too. Recommend booking ahead as it gets busy - but we were luckily able to get a walk-in on a Saturday night. We were in the smoking area outside but no one was actually smoking. Tables are big and good for groups. Will be back!”

“Decent Vietnamese restaurant! Salt and pepper shrimp was yum, and vermicelli was spot on. Beef pho had more than enough meat with well balanced soup. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming. Our server was super sweet as well.”

“Perhaps the best Sunday roast I had in 8y living in the UK. I’ve been there with friends and I ordered the Jacob’s ladder to share. The meat was absolutely phenomenal, incredibly tasty and perfectly cooked (12h slow cook). Each vegetable served with meat (roast potato, carrot and butternut squash purée, etc) was flavourful as well as the Yorkshire pudding. The pub is very nice and it’s located just 5 min away from the old market square in Kingston. Friendly staff, reasonable prices”

“Wow what a place!! Someone on a random whattsapp group told me to give this place a good review. Iv heard no one has been stabbed there which is a great bonus if your bringing the family. Half way through the meal a kindly horse was helping an old Mexican man eat his soup. Tirelessly attempting to scoop up the broth with his big powerful hooves. Wow.”

“Visited this restaurant on Saturday with my sister. We ordered from the lunchtime tapas menu. There was a great variety on offer. Our food was delivered very quickly, was piping hot and fresh. The host and waiters were all friendly and polite. Service was excellent. Highlights were the salt and pepper squid, pork dumplings and Phuket mussels.”

“Just spent a lovely evening at the Black Horse for the first time. Took my family for a Sunday Roast and it was exceptional. Really great food and atmosphere, plus service with a big smile from the lad behind the bar Jamie. All in all a great way to end the weekend.”

“This is a lovely pub with a friendly and helpful landlord! It's near both bus and train station, in Kingston! Had a great pint of Irish real ale! We also had a really good meal, a mixed grill, which was also a good price and filled us up, we will b going back!!”

“Great selection of European foods including fresh fruit/vegetables, sweets, meats, olives, cheeses, frozen foods and snacks. A bit on the pricier side but you tend to see this with imported foods. Clean venue and staff are polite.”

“I love this place ! They do good char siu bao amongst others. Then I often try lots of Japanese noodles you won't find in regular supermarkets oriental/asian section even. Then they do moon cake which is really good, or I would have had to go into China Town to get.”

“This I think is how chinese food should be made. Simple looking but impeccable flavours. I’d come back very often. Very reasonable prices and accommodating service from the team. We ordered the Prawn Curry and Braised Pork. The taste of the curry is authentic and not too overpowering. The pork is so soft I did not even have to chew. Well sone!”

“Beautiful pub in lovely Kingston, part of London where you can be very quickly via train back in the centre, on the other hand you are round the corner of Hampton Court, Wimbledon, great location, Buzzing high street, amazing walk along the river. The rooms really well set, clean, comfortable, really surprisingly nice, exceeded my expectation. cozy, great stay. Highly recommend. Really helpful staff, just breakfast might have a better variety of food, I was missing bread and toaster, but it would not put me off, maybe just message for the team )) I had croissant and it also made it ))) THANK YOU!!!”
