Open through the majority of our COVID lockdown providing the people of Kingston with delicious Japanese food.”

“The best butchers in the area. Meat and poultry fresh and chopped exactly how you want. The owners are very humble and polite. Best part they accept card/contactless payment, minimum £5 spend. You can also find various spices fruits and veg here. Overall a Gem and hassle free service.”

“Great selection of European foods including fresh fruit/vegetables, sweets, meats, olives, cheeses, frozen foods and snacks. A bit on the pricier side but you tend to see this with imported foods. Clean venue and staff are polite.”

“Fantastic new addition to the parade, well stocked and clean with all things Korean. Even the drinks range has been imported in. Can get very busy with school children and the aisle a little tight, otherwise well worth a visit.”

“I love this place ! They do good char siu bao amongst others. Then I often try lots of Japanese noodles you won't find in regular supermarkets oriental/asian section even. Then they do moon cake which is really good, or I would have had to go into China Town to get.”

“Wow!!! This is a fantastic and convenient spot to get sushi whenever you want it. This is because this sushi gourmet place has a large range of options and choice. The choices vary from the simplicity of a Nigiri to salads and big rolls. It has options of small and £10 boxes of nigiri and other sushi rolls and bigger portions of £20 that are more complicated rolls. It has deliveroo as takeaway and delivery service. However, it’s in Sainsbury’s in the centre right at the back of the store. This doesn’t mean that it has a bigger difference on this gourmet style and other Japanese restaurant. It only contains sushi and not brothers or other Japanese dishes as it’s only a Sushi Gourmet. When I go there I always get the nigiri rolls because they’re fresh and simple and also delicious. I’ve also been to other Japanese authentic restaurants and it’s different regarding the taste of the sushi because it’s not a chain but a single restaurant. However it’s not that big of a difference regarding freshness.”

“Quality fruits and stuff. I don't know why the UK supermarkets don't supply such high quality fruits. Their oranges are the best I have eaten in England. The dry fruits are also very good. Good shopping experience overall. Glad they opened near us”

“I am constantly amazed that I can buy a full bag of fruit and vegetables and only pay £15. I am sure the same list would cost twice as much in my local supermarket. The quality is no different and they use paper bags not plastic like supermarkets and you can actually talk to someone who knows about the products. This place is one of the few independent shops in the area. Use it or lose it.”
