“This was our first visit as we were just visiting the area for a few days. It was absolutely fantastic. The ambience of the place is amazing and the food is so delicious, fresh and authentically Lebanese/Arabic. The portions were very generous and we just could not stop eating. The bread was freshly baked and so tasty. Amazing service from the lovely staff Levi and Ali who were very welcoming and professional. A very special thanks to the chef, Hani. We wanted a couple of things changed on the dishes we had ordered and we did not mention this before until we were served with our food. However, the chef gladly accommodated this and brought back our dishes exactly like we wanted and with a smile. Couldn't have had a better meal. He even made a special dessert for us which was just so tasty and mouth watering that we ordered another portion to take away with us. Please make sure you add this to your menu? Highly recommend.”

“Perhaps the best Sunday roast I had in 8y living in the UK. I’ve been there with friends and I ordered the Jacob’s ladder to share. The meat was absolutely phenomenal, incredibly tasty and perfectly cooked (12h slow cook). Each vegetable served with meat (roast potato, carrot and butternut squash purée, etc) was flavourful as well as the Yorkshire pudding. The pub is very nice and it’s located just 5 min away from the old market square in Kingston. Friendly staff, reasonable prices”

“Just spent a lovely evening at the Black Horse for the first time. Took my family for a Sunday Roast and it was exceptional. Really great food and atmosphere, plus service with a big smile from the lad behind the bar Jamie. All in all a great way to end the weekend.”

“Beautiful pub in lovely Kingston, part of London where you can be very quickly via train back in the centre, on the other hand you are round the corner of Hampton Court, Wimbledon, great location, Buzzing high street, amazing walk along the river. The rooms really well set, clean, comfortable, really surprisingly nice, exceeded my expectation. cozy, great stay. Highly recommend. Really helpful staff, just breakfast might have a better variety of food, I was missing bread and toaster, but it would not put me off, maybe just message for the team )) I had croissant and it also made it ))) THANK YOU!!!”

“You sort of know what you're going to get with an O'Neill's, which is a good thing. I was very impressed here, the security was efficient and friendly. Although it was busy, there was a good atmosphere and the service was very quick. The fight was being shown on various screens around the pub, and although that's not my thing, the rest of the atmosphere was good. One of the better branches in the chain.”

“Davidson House is one of the best accomodation option for students in Kingston, it's location is perfect for commuting to anywhere within greater London at any given time. There are some issues at times as there's no full-time security or attendant on property & maintenance person also visits just once every week, which is troublesome at times; but all thanks to property manager Mrs. Smriti Shah for dedicatedly working towards delivering best possible experience for the resident students.”

“I stayed at short notice due to horrible plumbing issues at home meaning I couldn’t stay in my flat that night. I was feeling very upset and let down by the managing agent of the building I live in as they had not been very helpful. Then I was checked in by Irena. She was so kind, helpful and caring and really made me feel better and start to smile when all of wanted to do was cry or scream till then. The room was decent and the facilities were as expected.”

“My daughter visited the club for the first time last weekend. She had an amazing time and I was beyond impressed with the policies they have in place to ensure the welfare of vulnerable girls. They absolutely look out for their patrons; their welfare and safety. It is nice to know as a parent that these clubs have protective policies in place. I wish all clubs did and I commend them for all they do. Truly remarkable!”

“Called in for lunch yesterday & enjoyed delicious food (my partner had the loaded fries & I had a chickpea burger with fries) & drinks (I had a yummy but somewhat potent Singapore Sling!). Had a real buzz about it (despite the fact it wasn't that busy at 12) & the attention to detail from a decor perspective was great (lots of nods to music & even a skeleton!!). Staff were smiley & efficient too. Will deffo go back again!”

“Great bar! The staff were amazing, friendly and fun! Great choices of drinks including rattler in bottles which I was sooo happy about! The jukebox is awesome full of all rock metal and lots of other music! Pool table is good and a nice function room. Not the biggest place but had lots of fun.”

“Lovely pub to visit. My friend and I had an amazing time. Staff are super friendly and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this pub for families, couples, friends or whatever the event may be. The fresh flowers were lovely. It's really clean music just at the right level. And the beer on tap also amazing whatever you choose from larger to Guinness staff knew how to pour a pint or 2. I would highly recommend.”

“A excellent range of real ales and ciders . A large interior with a bar in the middle. Snooker table and board games available. A exchange book service too. Also does pizzas to eat in with which where very nice as we tried three out of the four on offer Light music on throughout the pub and TV Screens showing sport but they will switch off if annoying. Well worth going to.”

“Had a fabulous evening at The Spring Grove recently. Staff were so friendly and accommodating to allergies that I have. The manager Alex was helpful with this and also recommended some tasty gins! I had the Porchetta to eat and it was delicious. I will definitely be returning in the near future. Excited to see the plans that the manager told me has for the pub!”

“Booked the Boaters for a work Christmas meal and couldn't have been happier with the evening. Staff were friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The food was excellent and the table had been decorated beautifully with crackers! We booked on a Tuesday evening and there was a quiz going on the other side of the pub but this didn't disturb us at all.”

I was there working as a digital nomad during the day and despite the fact the young lady on the bar was alone in the morning, she went out of her way to check I was okay whilst managing other customers. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Food was delicious. Total gem of a place! I'll be back :)”

“Nicole and izzie were amazing, so friendly and they gave an outstanding service. Drinks were perfect. Free sport on projectors and tv’s all around the place. There’s the option to play some snooker/pull if you’re up for it. Cheap drinks, student discount, a great mix of music (80s-present) and very friendly service. I would highly, highly recommend to anyone who wants a great night.”

“I really liked this place because the members of staff were lovely and the food was excellent. The outside of the pub is also beautiful because of the lovely flowers. It was very clean and there was plenty of room to sit. The cheese toastie was delicious.”

“Great gastro pub food and excellent service from attentive, non pushy staff. Good menu selection includes veg/vegan. Booked for a Saturday late lunch for our 1 year anniversary and enjoyed decent steaks (1 rare, 1 med) with blue cheese sauce (on the side), fries and mushrooms. Very relaxed, despite it being quite busy we didn't feel rushed so enjoyed our drinks and took our time ordering dessert - one apple crumble (pictured) and a very sticky (good thing!) treacle tart with a (slightly small but proper) blob of whipped cream. Lovely early Christmas atmosphere.”
