"This was the cheapest lodging in London that wasn’t a hostel. As far as cleanliness goes, the duvet covers and carpet were stained and multiple mirrors+the TV had child handprints on them. There was a guest above us that was stomping around nonstop all night and day. You can hear some sounds from outside such as ambulances or people yelling, but not enough to really keep you from a good nights sleep despite the club around the corner. Service is average, though we did have to wait a good 15 minutes for someone to greet us at reception to check in. Only one of the 3 keycards we received worked, and we were provided 2 towels with 3 people on the reservation. If your phone service is okay, don’t bother paying for wifi, it’s pretty poor. On the flip side, there are plenty of outlets with usb ports which was lovely to have right next to the bed instead of having to used my outlet converter for everything. In the winter the building is kept warm but not stifling, and there are plenty of shops and food options within a 5 min walking distance. Additionally, the water pressure and heating is phenomenal. It’s a place to sleep and that’s about it."

"I stayed at short notice due to horrible plumbing issues at home meaning I couldn’t stay in my flat that night. I was feeling very upset and let down by the managing agent of the building I live in as they had not been very helpful. Then I was checked in by Irena. She was so kind, helpful and caring and really made me feel better and start to smile when all of wanted to do was cry or scream till then. The room was decent and the facilities were as expected."

"It's very very simple. Rather old fashioned. Comfortable bed. If you had the toilet seat down the bathroom door wouldnt shut. I wasn't impressed with the breakfast, it's just a box with a few continental items. There's was no option to what was in the box was I didn't eat as I didn't like the items."

"Good experience at this hotel as it is clean and safe compared to other Travelodge hotels. During my stay I was welcomed and accommodated by Irina. Unlike other people she is very enthusiastic with her work and does go above and beyond what is expected. Fab service."

"Awful hotel (if you are looking for a hotel in this price range, choose Premier Inn instead). Paid £129 a night for a room. The room itself is dated, border line clean and you can hear the steps of people from the floor above. The corridors are dirty, the carpet worn out, you can clearly see spots where people have been sick. The smell around the hotel itself if just awful. The elevator safety is questionable. Poor lighting in the corridors with multiple lights not working. Security to get into the hotel itself is non existent with the security point to go through doors with a key only not working and hence all doors are accessible to any floor to anyone (including the elevator). Emailed a complaint through the contact us page and got an automated message to say they will get back in 7 working days. The staff at the desk are not given any powers and hence can’t help you. Definitely would like to speak to someone about this."
