"This is the best pub in Kingston, i visit this place despite it being more expensive than the weather spoon (right across the road) sheerly due to the atmosphere and vibe. I mostly go here for drinks and watching soccer. Most of the bar staff is friendly, the manager is friendly and helpful. I have ordered food here sometimes in the recent past and have been satisfied with its quality."

"Went on a Sunday afternoon about 4pm. Atmosphere was absolutely dead. Ordered a £16 medium steak that was overcooked and served with an overpowering, at least 3 day old peppercorn sauce. Also ordered food for others on table. Nachos + chicken strips came out about 20mins before the steak, and remainder of chips for the chicken strips came at this time. Wouldn't mind, but was practically empty. Alcohol is overpriced like every other bar, unfortunately though, they can't even claim the pricing is for the pleasure of being out and enjoying the atmosphere as there wasn't one. Certainly will never go here again. Just terrible."

"Had the worst roast ever here. Potatoes were barely boiled never mind roasted. Carrots were rock hard and dirty, cauliflower cheese had zero cheese and the meat was extremely dry. Never again!"
