“I've been eating at Mayling for a few years now, and would highly recommend to anyone in the area. The Black Bean Curry is my personal favourite. Priced at £7.20 (fantastic), you can add a variety of vegetables for just a few extra quid to have the complete meal. Healthy dinner, good service and reasonable cost. Just make sure you can handle a bit of spice if you go for the Black Bean Curry!”

“Have been using Fu Du for years and have seen the quality of food go up and down as management has changed but last nights order was delicious and fantastic quality happy to continue to use them as the food was really outstanding for the price, portions and taste. Particularly loved the chicken satay sticks, the ribs and the salt and pepper squid. They have changed the way they packaged the squid which means it stays crispy.”

“This is the best Chinese takeaway I have ever had in the UK. The butterfly king prawns are amazing (You must try these) and the quarter duck is a good portion. Food is always piping hot and you can tell it’s fresh/good ingredients. I would recommend collecting just to make sure you get it on time and just as it’s been cooked. When I am not in town no Chinese has matched this. Well done Chopsticks !”

“Amazing Chinese! We messed up our order and didn’t specify a time so ended up arriving 2 hours early (our fault completely)! “Best Chinese in Walthamstow, used to be my weekly routine when I was at WFC. So happy to be living in the area now and able to call it my regular. Portion sizes are absolutely massive for the cost, food has delicious flavouring, is never too oily, plain or too dry. You get free items when you spend over a certain amount, free delivery if you're close by! The very best thing is their lunchboxes which have half a main dish and rice, the amount given for the money is insane. I highly recommend and have never had to wait for over half an hour. I ask other reviewers to have a bit of patience, especially when it's such a small restaurant, it may be one person working in the kitchen. At least your food is being made fresh and not reheated and served in seconds.”

So glad this is our local. There's also a large succulent that they have been growing for over 20 years in the waiting area - amazing!”
