“Incredible, high quality Chinese food! We enjoyed several delicious dishes, all well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. The curry and sweet and sour chicken were the highlights. The noodles portions are very generous. They were also very accommodating when ordering for our vegetarian/vegan friends. We got the spring rolls, samosas, noodles and curry. The vegetarian curry was outstanding, full of flavour with a spicy kick. I think it’s a fantastic local place with friendly owners, in a newly renovated and hygienic establishment. Would definitely recommend! No need to go all the way down to Chinatown to enjoy good Chinese food at cheap prices.”

“Located at the quieter end of lower marsh (Waterloo end) next to leake st arches (graffiti tunnel) is this really nice undiscovered restaurant. Serves Thai and Chinese dishes. Tried the sweet and sour pork and rice. It was pretty fantastic. It had all the right ratios of meat to peppers to pineapple. The sauce was amazing. Classic Hong Kong style. Portion size is massive as they use the old skool aluminium containers and not those shallow plastic ones. Highly recommended. Restaurant can seat around 50 ppl. Definitely going again to try the other dishes.”

“My friend invited us out for lunch and we went to Noodles City. Varieties of Chinese food selection and it's £10 per person which was good. The toilet is clean as well but can be better. The guys there are amazing and you can also take out but we didn't. The meal are delicious and I enjoyed the salad selection.”

“If you’re going to a Canto place you’ve got to stick to the classics: chow mein, sweet and sour pork, wontons etc. This is not the place to try Thai food or curry. So based on that, Oriental Master Chef is great. Chow mein are up there with the best, even the dim sum are solid. Big portions and affordable. I’ve become a regular.”
