“I took my partner here for afternoon tea on his birthday. We had an excellent time. The staff - Roxanne and Chris - went out of their way to welcome us and to make the experience feel special. The afternoon tea itself was fantastic with beautiful freshly prepared sandwiches and fresh warm scones (baked in-house). Highly recommend for dinner, lunch or a special occasion - we’ll be back soon!”

“Needed a table for 3, slight wait of 20 minutes, which I was informed about up front. Lovely hostess who on noticing I had a sore throat gave me a glass of water, really kind of her. Friends arrived and we were shown to the table. Used the app to order which us simple and straightforward. They had run out of corn so we were asked to choose an alternative, this was accomplished without fuss. Food arrived, hot and exactly as asked for. Service was swift, polite and didn't disturb our evening. Food we ordered was delicious and drinks were chilled.”

“Beautiful location and very well maintained nursery. The afternoon tea was excellent, we multiple teas, though the best thing was the pastries themselves - and there’s tonnes of them. The scones are to die for and are very filling. Generous portions.”

Delicious food with a good gluten free menu and gluten free flags on the GF plates so you know they are actually gluten free :) They staff were very friendly and were wearing masks to keep people safe which was very nice to see. “Loved this place. Rolled up on a Friday evening on a whim and they found a table for two of us. The food was excellent and great value for the amount we had. Excellent steaks and the Chorizo starter was incredible. The staff were great and the waitress who served us was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely go back.”

“This place is Magical! It is absolute perfection, the food, the amibiance, and Rubik's beautiful hospitality make you feel like you're coming home after years away. It's the kind of place where you think you'll just pop in for a quick drink or a bite, and the next thing you know you've made new friends, laughed with old ones and realized you never want to leave. “Popped into this fish and chip restaurant today and I'm so glad we did. My wife, two granddaughters and I all ate and I can honestly say I had the best fish and chips I have ever tasted. The chips were just like homemade chips and the fish was perfect as well.”

“Food and drinks were absolutely amazing. Duck confit with a British twist was superb. Lovely vintage dessert wines were a fantastic highlight of our lunch. We walked in without a reservation, and the host managed to find a table for us. Later on the host asked us to move to a different table, which wasn’t a big deal at all. Yet, the host kept on apologizing and even gave as two glasses of wine free of charge at the end of our lunch! So nice of him! Fantastic place, highly recommended!”

“A cosy French resto in Kew! Their menu is written in English and offers elegant, tasty dishes such as roasted Barbary duck breast with cardamom jus and peach and lettuce. Their starters of rabbit and pork terrine with gherkins and raspberry vinaigrette .. simply delish! There’s outdoor seating and cosy indoor seating during winter. Interesting interiors, unusual French ambience. If you don’t have time for a Eurostar ride across the channel but you’re craving the delicacies of French cuisine, this is the place. Open for both lunch and dinner. On-street parking. Just a short walk from Kew station if coming by train. Strongly recommended.”

“Malaysian cuisine! Friendly staff and makes you feel very welcomed and comfortable to dine in. Try Makan Makan Fried Rice and tea (hand mixed by Michelle) There's also a Fried Mars Bar!? Worth a try! Restaurant is a bit small with about 5 tables. Reasonably priced.”

“It's nice to go to a restaurant where they fill up your water glass when you're close to finishing and place your serviette on your lap. The Dragon Inn is on the prices side compared to other Chinese restaurants but you get what you pay for and the food is absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend and to book for popular evenings (Friday night etc) we ordered so many delicious starters we didn't get to a main course. Will try again next time.”

“Absolutely loved this place. Authentic Turkish dishes cooked out on the open grill. Extensive menu with all the classics, baba ganoush, falafels and tons of Shish kebab grilled meats. Starters are around £8, mains and wine (bottle) are around £20 each. Ask about Turkish wines which are not on the menu. Great, fast service. 12.5% service charge is automatically added to your bill. Cozy atmosphere!”

“Bao-tastic Reluctant to leave a review about this place as it’s a hidden gem. The bao’s are delicious - pork is the traditional signature dish - but prawn and chives is my personal favourite. But also try the pancake and wanton soup. It can get busy sometimes as it’s about the size of a bao. It’s mainly a take away place - however there are some seats to dine in. But it’s family run, fast and very yummy”

“I have been to the Crown for casual evening drinks while sitting outside in their nice garden a couple of times but never been there for lunchtime or dinner. I finally had a chance to book a table (advisable because I tried to turn up in a couple of occasions and they were always full) and had a fantastic dining experience! Food was fresh, tasty and presented beautifully, with great staff and excellent beer and wine selection. I am looking forward to going back”
