The decor is beautiful and very stylish and colourful. The upstairs Isabella room is very nice and perfect for a private function. I highly recommend this place.”

“The Refuel Bar & Restaurant is a delightful place to have a drink or meal with friends, before a show or cocktail before moving on elsewhere. We were looking for a place away from the Soho crowds and having called them within five minutes we had a table for 6. The cocktails were lovely, well presented and very tasty. The staff were respectful and excellent in service. The design of the bar and surrounding area is elegantly thought out and the imagery behind the bar is awesome. Highly recommended – a little hidden gem in Soho, close to bars, China Town and theatres.”

“Great spot but also increasingly more of American tourists versus local pub. Don’t show up with 17 people and expect a seat—don’t be that guy. Amazing staff, great pints, incredibly clean and well stocked ladies toilets. Can’t wait to go back!”

“Absolutely fabulous little German riverside restaurant and Beer garden. Quite frankly one of the best Schnitzels in London and the sausages were not bad at all (if a tad Salty). The service is impeccable and friendly and all German speaking. The Beers and cocktails were a treat too as is the amazing riverside view sitting on the terrace. Top tip: Book your table... or you will be sitting inside which is still great (Music played is outstanding) but the terrace is a highlight of you can get it.”

“I took my partner here for afternoon tea on his birthday. We had an excellent time. The staff - Roxanne and Chris - went out of their way to welcome us and to make the experience feel special. The afternoon tea itself was fantastic with beautiful freshly prepared sandwiches and fresh warm scones (baked in-house). Highly recommend for dinner, lunch or a special occasion - we’ll be back soon!”

“This bar is a favourite of my wife we normally have a few drinks here on a Sunday if we are going for a buffet at a local Indian restaurant, the staff are very friendly and very welcoming,helpful, on a sunny day its nice to sit outside the regulars are also very friendly.the only down side about sitting out side are the beggar's asking for money or and cigarettes. But we'll worth a visit”

“Called in for lunch yesterday & enjoyed delicious food (my partner had the loaded fries & I had a chickpea burger with fries) & drinks (I had a yummy but somewhat potent Singapore Sling!). Had a real buzz about it (despite the fact it wasn't that busy at 12) & the attention to detail from a decor perspective was great (lots of nods to music & even a skeleton!!). Staff were smiley & efficient too. Will deffo go back again!”

Starters are around £8, mains and wine (bottle) are around £20 each. Ask about Turkish wines which are not on the menu. Great, fast service. 12.5% service charge is automatically added to your bill. “I have been to the Crown for casual evening drinks while sitting outside in their nice garden a couple of times but never been there for lunchtime or dinner. I finally had a chance to book a table (advisable because I tried to turn up in a couple of occasions and they were always full) and had a fantastic dining experience! Food was fresh, tasty and presented beautifully, with great staff and excellent beer and wine selection. I am looking forward to going back”

“Lovely weekend lunch! The menu isn't extensive but there is enough choice and nobody felt they had to compromise. The kids menu was very good, plenty of options to cater for simpler and more adventurous tastes. The triple cooked chips, these days almost a pub cliché, are worthy of a special mention! Clean plates all around. What more can you ask for?”

“This is an old fashioned 'local' with no food served other than crisps and peanuts etc but the landlady is very friendly. My walkers group have just resumed visiting there after our walk and she always bakes delicious cakes for us. There is a nice little garden to the side of it with very comfy patio furniture”

“An excellent craft beer bar, just off a main road in Richmond. Lots of great beers to choose from local breweries like Twickenham and Siren, plus a good menu of burgers etc. We visited on Easter Monday, and there was a BBQ outside cooking fantastic steak sandwiches. Looking forward to returning!”

“Lovely dinner at Bacco Ristorante Italiano after an afternoon in Richmond. A small menu that is well executed. The bruschetta with burrata, risotto with asparagus and prawns, and tagliatelle with black truffle were all excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive. Lots of Italian wines. Large outdoor seating area under large umbrellas. Definitely will return and would definitely recommend.”
