The Avenue Veterinary Clinic
● Closed“Dr Roland and team have treated our dog from puppyhood over the last one year. This has included routine vaccinations and advice as a puppy, spaying operation, and then a recurrent and difficult infection that requires several visits and treatments. Dr Roland has always provided perfect clinical management and excellent and clear advice, and I feel very thankful to have him as our dog’s vet. The rest of the team are always very helpful and polite and I could not recommend this vet practice higher.”

Two by Two Veterinary Centre
● Closed“Our beautiful beloved cat Betty had recently been put to sleep due to old age (20 years old). We are heartbroken but deeply indebted to Suzie and the whole team for the care and dedication shown to Betty throughout her time with us and during her final moments, and the support and kindness shown to my daughter and myself afterwards, from the sensitive way they had helped us deal with her remains to the thoughtful card and messages we received. We had been attended by Andrew and his team since the clinic opened some 5 years ago and we are very blessed indeed to have a local clinic like this one at our doorstep.”

Companion Care - Croydon
● Closed“The vet I had was amazing with my cat and gave us lots and lots of advice about moving with him. Not only covering advice to make his trip easier but also things we can do beforehand and ways to put him into the carrier easier. My appointment was rescheduled to be earlier as the vet wasn't feeling well. But I didn't mind as the vet's love for her job and customer service skills shone through despite feeling unwell.”

Zasman Vet Hampstead

We hadn’t yet found our family vet but were extremely happy with the vet staff - the receptionist was very kind and calming and the vet saw him right away, even though we didn’t have an appointment. So grateful we found this practice and will definitely come back here for all pet medical needs.”

Mark Nelson Vets, Thorton Heath
● Closed“I have been with Mark Nelson's for 30 years with a short gap recently due to personal issues. They have always put my animals first and always treated me and my animals with care and respect. When my beautiful girl Bailey suddenly fell terminally ill, they did everything they could to make her last week's comfortable and pain free, and when she finally deteriorated early one Saturday morning, they were there to make sure she didn't suffer anymore. I have just moved back to the area and have immediately re registered my three with them and an appointment was immediately available to see my poorly cat. Can't recommend this surgery enough. Caring vets and one receptionist lady has to be the kindest and loveliest I've had the pleasure of dealing with.”

VETCall Veterinary Surgery
● Closed“Our beloved Hattie, a Miniature Schnauzer, sadly passed away very suddenly on 08/10/22, at an out of hours practice (They were wonderful), before our booked appointment to see Stephen, which would have been only 3 hours later. We were both utterly bereft, particularly my partner Fiona, Hatties 'Mum'. The staff at Vetcall sent a lovely condolences card, and Stephen rang on 26/10/22 to give his very valuable opinions on what may have happened. The conversation was remarkably healing for us, and we are both extremely grateful for the call. Vetcall have always been absolutely wonderful, and after Christmas when we are ready to welcome another little darling into our lives, it will be Vetcall to whom we will be returning for excellent care and kindness...from everyone. We really can't thank you all enough for looking after all three of us. Thanks again, and see you all soon.”

Ivy Lodge Veterinary Clinic
● Closed“This vets — unlike many others in busy town settings — is easy to drive to just outside Romford and near Upminster. Set in quiet pretty countryside On the edge of a farm, there is plenty of easy free parking and a lovely relaxed clean-air atmosphere. I need this calmness when I take my anxious pet for attention! The staff are professional and caring . They seem to be up with the latest knowledge in what your pet needs and I am very happy that my cat Pixie now gets probably better attention than I do! Thank you Ivy Lodge”

Essex Vets Rainham
● Open“On Sunday my girl Nancy went into labour. This was the 1st time I’ve ever done anything like this and didn’t really know what to expect or how long Nancy would be ok for. I called and spoke to a man called Scott who went through absolutely everything with me and what I should I expect and left it down to me when or if I should I bring her in. Scott also went over the emer hour costs on the phone, so when I did bring her in there would be no surprises. the parking wasn’t bad as it was 12am so I parked infront of next doors shop. I was greeted by Scott and the vet (I think her name was mirela) who put me at ease, made fuss of Nancy to keep her calm, they both went over what would happen from now and what roles the team have in the surgery room. When they took Nancy into the back as they was getting the room ready (I guess) I could see through the door they let her wander around with them again all making a fuss of her to keep her calm. It was the little things like seeing that which made me feel calm as I was getting upset in reception as I could see they constantly was looking out for her even before surgery. Surgery went really good after Scott came out to tell me about the puppies and then got them ready and filled the hot water bottle up (again I’ve heard some vets don’t even do that for you) whilst the vet went over all the important after details. Since her op I’ve had a couple of questions and the reception team are always so friendly! Honestly I would recommended this vet practice especially this 3 man team. Honestly it’s the little things that count. They were honestly amazing! Thank you again team!!”

Whenever we have had and emergency situation they have very kindly offered to see us in 5 minutes notice. All the vets are knowledgable, kind and look after the animals well. They also offer medication right there so we don’t have to look elsewhere. They have an emergency hospital for any thing serious.”

Whitton Pet Centre Ltd
● Closed“We have been going to this pet shop since they opened, 10+ years ago! The two ladies are the most lovely people, they always remember us and our dog is spoilt with a little treat upon entry (which may be why he drags us all along the high street to get to the pet shop!!). They will go above and beyond to help with any enquires and you can tell they really care! There is a great community spirit about them, always getting involved in neighbourhood activities- plus at Christmas, they have a beautiful window snow display. The shop is also spotless! I highly highly recommend them!”

● Closed“Fantastic groomer's all round! I've been taking my dog here for well over a year now and the team is absolutely incredible. They are super hard working, very professional and always take such great care of my dog every time we go. Special shout out to Robbie he's so helpful and caring, I always feel so comfortable leaving my dog with him and the team because I know he's in such great hands. I haven't had the best experience with dog groomer's in the past so finding this team has been a God send! Unfortunately I don't know the other gentleman's name but he cut my dog's hair the last few times and he is insanely talented! BEST DOG GROOMER'S IN TOWN!!! Literally the only place I will ever go to get my dogs hair cut. Thanks a million to Robbie and the team.”

Harvey is a honest, polite and a very helpful person. He was very patient with me as I was so indecisive and he gave me a lot of info regarding certain toys, food and bedding. I probably spent a good 45-60 minutes in the shop and I will definitely be back. Would recommend Pets Pantry to everyone. Thanks Harvey and James for everything- and Harvey I hope you enjoy your lil grey hammy as much as I love my little Loaf.”
