“Our local Beaver colony had a fantastic evening at Pets at Home Romford. Our host Terry was very informative and incredibly patient answering all of the children’s questions (and there were a lot of questions). The children were able to hold a Guinea pig and Terry made them feel comfortable whilst doing so. We all had a brilliant evening. Thank you Terry.”

“Came for a 2nd opinion. Vet Louise was amazing a very thorough diagnosis. The reception Staff all very friendly and helpful. It was very busy at the time and we waited a little longer than our appointment time but it was worth the wait as we left feeling relieved having had everything explained to us. “K9 and Feline has looked after our dog Dylan since he was a puppy. He is now 6 years old and absolutely loves his walks with his walker and his doggy friends. Katie at K9 has been an absolute star, especially since Dylan has been in poor health over recent months. I feel like he is with someone who genuinely cares about him and Katie's flexibility in looking after him has meant I can go to work reassured that he is being looked after properly- a real weight off my mind. “Kevin came and saw our lovely but anxious 18 month old teenager dog. This was his first grooming session so he was very nervous, our dog that is.. not Kevin lol. He handled him so lovingly, stopping to give him cuddles when he got too upset but still got him clean, combed and smelling lovely. He is a big super fluffy long haired dog and a lot of hard work bathing. However Kevin handled him well and knew when to stop and when our dog had had enough. As it was his first grooming session that meant a lot to us and we felt he was in safe caring hands. Afterwards our pup was happy and chilled and even went back out to see Kevin again to show him his ball. Would highly recommend.”

“A few days before our holiday our cat had an accident and ended up with broken toes, I was so worried that Oakland's would not want to take her. Louise however was amazing and completely reassuring about looking after her, our cat probably received better care than being at home with us. The cat hotel is beautiful and very peaceful and after a stressful few days before our holiday we were able to go away with complete confidence that our little fur baby was being taken care off. Will always try to get her into Oakland's it's a lovely place.”

“Been using Wet pets for many years, have always found the services to be good and the knowledge even better. I have read all the review below and having brought lots of fish, plants and equipment from them, i have never received anything but a warm welcome and sound advise. All the fish (and that's lots) i have gotten from them over the years have always been healthy and happy. Whenever i have lose a fish, it is normally down to my own error (a snack for my angel fish) or to water quality (Ammonia or Nitrite spikes).”

“This vets — unlike many others in busy town settings — is easy to drive to just outside Romford and near Upminster. Set in quiet pretty countryside On the edge of a farm, there is plenty of easy free parking and a lovely relaxed clean-air atmosphere. I need this calmness when I take my anxious pet for attention! The staff are professional and caring . They seem to be up with the latest knowledge in what your pet needs and I am very happy that my cat Pixie now gets probably better attention than I do!
