“Attended two days training here, didn't stay the night unfortunately, employer too tight. Lovely hotel and buffet breakfast is free for guests or £7.95 Which was lovely and very good value. Strangely, they don't serve Lunch or Dinner but plenty of local places to go”

I cannot praise all the staff highly enough - both in the hotel and the Brewer's Fayre next door - for their helpfulness, politeness and professionalism, especially Judith on Reception. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and great value for families with the kids eat free deal :-) You won't be disappointed here - do give it try!”

“I underwent surgery yesterday and was under the care of Mr Nigel Day and his amazing female Dr colleague ( so sorry that I can't remember her name) along with the anaesthetist. I cannot tell you how amazing all of the staff were to me from booking the appointment with Shirley and then arriving at the day surgery right through to Swift ward at the end of the day. Mr Day took the time to visit me on the ward at the end of a long day to check I was okay and to advise me of the surgery he performed. The care was exceptional and all of the staff should feel very proud that they are caring for patients who can be anxious. Long may our NHS continue and maybe it is time we all stood together as a nation to help them earn a rightful wage and more resource. I know there are organisations already in operation and I intend to support the cause more aggressively than I have to date. Thank youa nd much appreciated Sally :)”

“I was disappointed that there was no lift, as women travelling alone are always put on the top floor for some reason. My room was also the first one from the stairs. Fortunately I was only disturbed but one group of people shouting along the corridor. My main complaint, though, was the freezing cold water coming from the shower. When I mentioned this to the receptionist as I left, she told me I should have informed reception. When I said I'm not sure how when I was in the shower, she just said "oh". Update to previous review: I stayed here last weekend and it felt completely different to last time. The day before I arrived, one of the receptionists, Megan, rang to check if there was anything in particular that I required for my room. I have been staying in Premier Inns for years and have stayed in loads of them and this has never happened before. She asked if I was coming for a special occasion and I mentioned it was my birthday the previous day and that I was visiting my daughter. When I arrived in my room, I found a box of chocolates, a can of lager and a small bottle of sparkling wine, along with a card and birthday message from the hotel. I thought this was such a lovely thing to do. Megan deserves a special mention because she was extremely friendly and helpful during my stay.”

“I needed new wiper blades for my 2017 Renault Captur and had been told by two well known national service organisations that they could not get the correct items and that Renault had probably changed the spec. I contacted Wilson spares department and explained my problem to Owen. He found the parts and reserved them for me. I went there next day, the parts were waiting and a techie fitted them in a few minutes. Obviously there had been no change in spec. Excellent service from what was clearly a very busy department.”

“We hired Mr Twist for our 4 year olds birthday party yesterday and it was amazing! We had children from under 1 to 11 and they were all thoroughly entertained and engaged throughout! Even the adults was so impressed and some even laughing out loud too! Many of the guests have already asked for his details and I really hope to see him again soon at a party! “My children have been learning to swim with Surrey Swim School for the last 5 years. They are now 8yrs and 5yrs. They love every minute of their lessons. They have both progressed extremely well. The teachers are wonderful and very professional, always putting the safety of the children first. A truly fantastic swim school. I highly recommend it!”

“An stunningly beautiful place. The building and grounds were outstanding made all the better because of the lovely weather currently. I saw the world premiere of Pushkin opera which was extremely good with very strong voices and impressive cast.”
