She was very knowledgable, lots of useful advice for my ankle problem and helped me choose the right pair after doing a couple of gait analysis after explaining what to look for in the video clip (I'm a newbie). She told me she was new to this store, but what a great addition! Thank you (Louise? Sorry should have asked for your name - this name was on my receipt) !! Highly recommended and I'll be back soon! However, before I was served by this helpful lady, I waited for a long time (about 5 min, took so long that I started trying on several pairs from the shelf myself) for anyone to show up. One eventually did from the stock room and another customer just turned up and grabbed him :( Maybe she has an appointment booked, I wasn't sure. I was the only other customer there. Not much interest in letting me know I'd be serve next until I asked. The shop floor wasn't huge. It would be nice to acknowledge other waiting custmers...”

● Open“This store is fantastic. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and pay attention. Possibly the best place to get trainers and sports clothes for miles around. My wife had insoles made there with a new machine that can measure the problems with your feet and then you can try them with new trainers. Good parking and a new store with high end products. It's been a while but if Sports Direct do more stores like this then the high street might be on the up. Well done guys you scored high with this one.”

● Open“Went to jd sports in staines today so my son could redeem a Fashion favourites gift card that my son was given as a gift. The staff were very helpful and patient as we tried, tried and tried again, we were in the shop for over an hour trying to redeem the card. Unfortunately to no avail then one off the staff suggested changing the card for another gift card in store. Which I agreed to so they went off to see the manager to see if we could do that. However because JD Sports do not accept Fashion favourites gift cards due to problems, they suggested that I call them or better still go online and do a webcall as this would be free. Overall I found the staff to be very friendly, helpful, patient and polite.”
