Premier Laser & Skin Clinic Kingston
● Closed“I’ve been treating at this clinic for some years for tattoo removal and I’m very happy with the results. After having a tattoo successfully removed, I decided to remove another one, still with the same person, Maria, who is a great and professional practitioner, and also a very nice and friendly person. Truly recommended!”

The Queen's Head, Kingston
● Open144 Richmond Road, Kingston Upon Thames KT2 5HA, United Kingdom“Lovely weekend lunch! The menu isn't extensive but there is enough choice and nobody felt they had to compromise. The kids menu was very good, plenty of options to cater for simpler and more adventurous tastes. The triple cooked chips, these days almost a pub cliché, are worthy of a special mention! Clean plates all around. What more can you ask for?”

Hotter Shoes Kingston upon Thames
● Closed“I am always very happy with the service I receive from the friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff - 10/10 - and I always leave absolutely satisfied. I do like the shop layout, mirrors and furniture; they're lovely and stylish. The look and feel of the place is far from an ordinary shoe shop. I am amazed at the extreme comfort and fit of Hotter's shoes; never have I owned anything so comfortable (I own three pairs). Wide fit shoes are also available which is great if, like me, you struggle to find wide fitting comfortable shoes elsewhere.”

Davidson House - Student Accommodation Kingston
● Closed“Davidson House is one of the best accomodation option for students in Kingston, it's location is perfect for commuting to anywhere within greater London at any given time. There are some issues at times as there's no full-time security or attendant on property & maintenance person also visits just once every week, which is troublesome at times; but all thanks to property manager Mrs. Smriti Shah for dedicatedly working towards delivering best possible experience for the resident students.”

Busaba Kingston Riverside
● Open“Came here on a Saturday evening, it was super busy but they had us sat down speedily. The service was attentive, fast, and friendly. I would 100% recommend the calamari, up there with the best I’ve had! The jungle curry is supposedly spicy but it was not spicy at all, and if you’re Bengali, it tastes like a traditional Bengali chicken curry with less spice!”

Travelodge Kingston Upon Thames Central
● Open“I was a little worried after reading previous reviews, but I needn't have been! Short walk from the station, greeted very warmly by Alizay who was an absolute joy. Given a choice of floors, so opted for 6 as figured it would be quiet. This is the business floor... Room was spotless, even a bit of a view from the window. No issues with getting in late after a gig, key card worked fine. I felt safe as a woman on my own. Comfy bed, great shower, and no rush to check out the next morning. Another lovely gent on reception. Would definitely stay again, easy quick walk to go look at some of the sights. Really can't find fault for the price.”

Travelodge London Kingston Upon Thames
● Open“I stayed at short notice due to horrible plumbing issues at home meaning I couldn’t stay in my flat that night. I was feeling very upset and let down by the managing agent of the building I live in as they had not been very helpful. Then I was checked in by Irena. She was so kind, helpful and caring and really made me feel better and start to smile when all of wanted to do was cry or scream till then. The room was decent and the facilities were as expected.”

Eleana’s Bistro
● Closed5 High Street, Hampton Wick, Kingston Upon Thames KT1 4DA, United Kingdom“I’ve been lucky enough to go to Eleana’s a few times now - and every time has been outstanding. Delicious dinners, beautiful brunches, cracking cocktails. Slow-cooked lamb; dripping with flavour. Perfectly poached eggs; oozing with yolk. Fabulous French Toast; exploding with flavour and texture. I highly recommend this restaurant for so many reasons. The decor is subtle and classy. The owners kind and attentive. The food tasty and from the heart. Give it a go if you’re in the area; you won’t be disappointed.”

TruTravels
● Closed“I’m currently contemplating even going home, after three tours with TruTravels. Bali, Cambodia and The Philippines i officially have the bug! The tours have been incredible, ticking off everything on your bucket list. You meet the most amazing people on the tours who will remain friends for life. TruTravels isn’t your arrange travel company, it’s a family. The travel ninjas are insane, they are always on hand prior to the trip, on the tour and after you leave. Nothing is ever an issue, which takes away all your the stress and anxieties. Shout out to the travel ninjas Marta, Hull and Chris (aka Crystal) these tours wouldn’t have been the same without them, the tours are great but I personally feel it’s made by the tour guide as they take you to all the great local spots to really experience the places you’re in. I would highly recommend TruTravels!!”

Yellow Zebra Safaris
● Closed“Thank you Yellow Zebra Safaris, especially Lauren. We had a wonderful honeymoon! Lauren was extremely helpful throughout the entire booking process. She even reached out throughout the trip and afterward to make sure there were no issues. After our 3 week stay in Kenya, it was hard to leave. All the internal flights and accommodations were easy flowing with no issues. We loved all the camps and lodges we stayed at. At each location, we had our own guide, who was informative about all the animals went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed each day. We will use Yellow Zebra Safaris in the future!”

Patio Pizza
● Open“Top quality pizza!! Similar to what another reviewer mentioned; too often you order "classic" neopolitan pizza and the toppings either slide off, or there is no crunch and you need to use a knife and fork - that is not the case here. Bases are immaculately firm and crispy, toppings are generous and high quality. Just an all round top drawer pizza”

The Albion
● Open“I've featured my local Big Smoke pub before but on the rare occasion I found The Albion mostly empty, and serving the exceptional A&H London Black from the official glassware, I figured it was time to feature a review. I believe this was the second pub Big Smoke opened, building on the success of The Antelope in Surbiton. It's been here as long as I can remember, and at one stage had a Gin Distillery out the back which I think is now just garden seating (opted not to pap this, but there's a huge garden there with beer festivals held in the summer). Indoors, it's familiar to those who know the chain. Wooden panelling, ample seating, vinyl soundtracked vibe, 10+ ales and ciders, a multitude of keg offerings too including 2 AF options in the form of Lucky Saint and their own AF beer which has gone down well over the past month. You get a mixture of students, weekend shoppers, families and real ale folk in here, it's a nice melting pot of booze enthusiasts and those looking for a pub not surrounded by Vape Shops, a step away from the town centre, outside of the rampant demolition you see taking over Kingston. It's sort of a home away from home, despite only being some 15-20 minutes down the road from me, a chain familiarity but still less polished than those brand new Big Smoke pubs you spot in greater London. With time to kill it can be a quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of town, but with Rugby on and one of the few spacious family friendly pubs in the area it can get quite hectic. A nice problem to have for Big Smoke. Food again is similar to the other sites, a sort of BBQ meets pub grub style, with plenty of bits in-between to choose from. See the place pack out for weekends with roasts on, and various offers during the week. The pub dates back to 1845, little known about its history other than it was advertised as a sort of taproom with a view to watch the recreational sports on the green. Once Greene King, now Big Smoke, another one saved from mediocrity.”
