“Kelseigh did mine and my bridesmaids wedding makeup and was absolutely wonderful. From the trial through to the day itself she was professional, trustworthy and a wizard with the makeup. Few of us wear much makeup normally but wanted the 'natural' look for photos. She followed our brief perfectly and kept it subtle, whilst covering all the bags under eyes and making us all feel beautiful on the wedding day. She even travelled all the way to Scarborough for us! I would also recommend her new salon, with it's calming music and lovely staff. Highly recommended!”

“I visited the ladies at Number 11 not long after they reopened after lockdown. For the moment it is a limited service so I had my usual pedicure and leg wax with Ruth. The whole process from the questionnaire to fill in prior to visiting and the instructions for arrival, and the treatments themselves, was wonderful. Ruth was as professional as always, the salon was spotlessly clean as usual with a few new procedures in place to ensure customer an staff safety ..... very impressed! Next appointment booked for 5 weeks when I can finally get my eyebrows and upper lip treatments! Lovely to see you all ladies xxx”

“I have been going to Allure for treatments for around 3 years now. Very clean and professional service all the time. Tas is so friendly and kind and takes her time to offer advice and support. I have been having Laser with the skin rejuvinating machine and WOW what a difference to my skin. Having PCOS my facial hair had been really thick and dark and within a few treatments i have found a massive difference. I have had head massages and facials here too and definately recommend. “During the years I have had several treatments at Monika Beauty Clinic. The most recent one was Crystal meso PN - under the eye skin booster. My skin in this area was paper thin, dry and wrinkled. After this procedure I can see a massive improvement in skin firmness. It is more plumped and my eyes look younger. “I had a large and annoying spider vein under my eye that I wanted rid of. Having never undergone any sort of blemish removal before I was quite apprehensive of what it might involve. I contacted Helene from York Laser Aesthetics who chatted to me on the phone for some time, talking through my options and giving me in-depth detail about what each procedure would involve as well as what would happen after the procedure. Helene really put me at ease and booked me in for short-wave diathermy. Helene’s clinic is fantastic (and so is Helene!). When I arrived for my procedure, I again felt at ease, Helene talked me through the process once more before carrying out short-wave diathermy on my annoying spider vein. It was quick and was actually a lot more pleasant than I was expecting. Right through the procedure Helene reassured me and gave me opportunities to take a break. “I have had two lip filler treatments at this clinic and will be having future aesthetics treatment (Botox) here due to the knowledge of the nurses and time taken to explain and administer product . The clinic is nurse led which and treatment, procedures and after care is explained in detail. They also have out of hours support if required. Each time I have had .5ml of filler and advised by the clinic not to have more to maintain natural look where as some clinics would not be so ethical. Having had aesthetics treatments elsewhere by non nurses the difference is clear. The clinic is also easy to find, a nice calm environment and easy to park”
