"I had a $20 gift card but I couldn't find any clothing that I wanted but I love their jewelry so I bought me a jewelry set"

"Arrived at the store at 10 am and the store was not open. Around 10:06 an employee Michelle emerges from her car walks right by me as I am standing at the door. No Greeting or anything, she unlocks both doors and allows the doors to shut in my face as I am walking in behind her. I said Jesus Help because she was very rude!! As I entered the store she stops and asked me what did you say? The issue I have is this employee sat in her car and watched me as the store was supposed to be open at 10 am despite leaving me standing there she walked up with an attitude and didn’t bother to greet me. However, after being rude you then had the nerve to ask me what I said. I browsed at a few things but her energy was very negative so I left. I wanted to get her name for this review, so I went back in and approached the counter. She (Michelle) is behind the counter, after standing there for a few mins she says what do you need? My response was good morning and may I have your name. Tried to give her another opportunity and she was still rude!! I have been shopping at Cato for over 20 years I have never met a rude person until today. I will NEVER patron this store again. While writing this I am still standing in the store and she approached me confrontational as to why I am standing in the store and ask if I have a problem with her and if I did I can call cooperate."

"I really like this store. Love their merchandise. Can always find my size and I'm a plus size. Go there all the time when I need clothing or jewelry. However they need to stock up"

"Wonderful customer service. Young lady greeted me and did everything perfect. Ask if I was looking for anything in particular. She was warm and welcoming and let me look around. This was my first time in Cato's and the rapport she initiated and her assistance taking the things I wanted to try and hung them. She definitely established a wonderful customer relationship with me. It was the best, most pleasant, and productive shopping trip that I've experience in the past 10 yes. In my many years as a jewelry store manager she was the perfect example in how my employees were trained. Kudos to Cato's for still believing in building long term customer relationships. My expectations were definitely exceeded today. Oh, and I love the quality, great selections, and value."
