"I ORDERED CLOTHES FOR MY SON AND MYSELF. THEY SHIPPED MY PANTS WITH THE SECURITY TAG ON THEM. I CALL THE CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER AND I'M ASKED IF THERE'S A STORE CLOSE TO ME. IF THERE IS I CAN GO IN AND ASK THAT THE SECURITY TAG BE REMOVED. OR SHE CAN SEND A LABEL FOR ME TO SEND THE PANTS BACK AND I CAN BUY ANOTHER PAIR, SHE'D " GIVE THEM TO ME FOR THE PRICE THAT I'D PAID FOR THEM". AND THAT WILL TAKE 15 DAYS. HOW? THERE IS A STORE IN MY AREA. I WORK FROM 8AM TO 8PM. THEY'RE OPEN FROM 10AM TO 8PM. HOW IS YOUR MISTAKE MY MISFORTUNE? I OPTED IN FOR THE SURVEY BEFORE I SPOKE WITH THE REPRESENTATIVE. "Very unpleasant experience. Spent over $100 despite multiple items were mislabeled. Employee overrode one price ($4 difference) but refused to override a much larger price difference. I had to recommend that he change the tag for future customers and he heeded my advice as he stood in front of me. Very disheartening as I loved this sweater as I've been looking for an excellent fitting white sweater for years (I finally caved and donated my too small Aeropostale white sweater from high school, 10+ years ago) and had thought this would be my favorite sweater's replacement. At first glance while browsing the clothing selection (as seen in photo) price appears as $9.95, not $79.95. ...However, both pants I purchased fit great; and I do love the quality of clothing that Gap offers customers. I'll eventually shop here again, but I'm afraid caution will be needed during my next shopping experience, which doesn't sound like a fun shopping experience especially when it's your one break from 3 kids all day."
