"They installed my furnace and AC brand new a couple years ago. I’ve had a home warranty company for 20 years . The Home Warranty Co.went downhill this year they told me 24 to 48 hours to get my furnace back in shape and running right because there was no service people available. I usually got a response within an hour. That was a lie, so I canceled my contract after waiting over 12 hours to hear anything from anybody . I was very pleased at calling this company back, They came the next day exactly when they said they would .You talk to a normal English-speaking person that you can understand and their service person was awesome .And they give you a heads up text I’m very happy ."

"They started the job as they said they would. The technician was very polite and made sure there was no way my house was to be come dirty from this job of replacing my furnace. When the job was done there were no signs of anything being done other than a nice new furnace in front of me. I would definitely recommend Maglish Pluming & Heat and Tim the installer on a well done job. Thanks Guys"

"If I could give less than one star I would. On Saturday 11/25 I contacted Maglish Heating due to my furnace not working, and the repair service I normally use was closed for the holiday weekend. I was connected with their 24/7 service rep that took down my information ( telephone and email), and then explained that I would get a call from the repairman. The gentleman ( alas I don't remember his name) called me and one of the first things he said was " I don't want to come out if I don't have to". I should have taken that as a warning, but I didn't. He walked me through a couple of steps to test the unit. None worked. He then explained that there would be service charge and if parts were needed they would be marked up by 30% because it was the weekend. I told him I understand. He did arrive in a decent amount of time, and was courteous. He disconnected my thermostat, then went to the furnace and proceeded to test the circuit board. After about 45 minutes or so he stated that I have a defective circuit board and that I needed a new one or a new furnace, since this one was from 2005. He gave a rough quote of $600-800 for a board and several thousand for a furnace. He then told me that he would get me an exact quote on Monday (11/27). He then returned to the furnace to take some measurements. He charged me $286 for the service call as no repairs were done. He also took my email and said I would get the quote emailed to me on Monday . I decided on Monday to call my original repair service to get a second opinion. The repair man came out. I explained to him what the service man from Maglish told me was wrong with the furnace. He checked the circuit board as well and explained the board gives a trouble code similar to how a "check engine" code does in a car. He explained that my board could be bad OR the draft blower could be defective. On further testing, he discovered that the blower was defective. and finished the repair in a round an hour. He then asked were these test leads mine that were connected to the circuit board? I told him no. He said well the other guy left them connected after he tested it, he also never plugged back in the wires he disconnected during testing. Total cost for all of this including parts was $375! Maglish Employee: $286 for an incorrect diagnosis of my problem. I still haven't received a quote or receipt for the service call. Original Service company: $375 for service, parts and fixing what the Maglish employee left behind. I can't recommend Maglish for service and I will not if anyone asks me."

"Maglish has done work at my house for both plumbing and HVAC in the past few years. Every time they've done an estimate (and then the work), they explain what they're doing, each person is professional, and their prices are fair and pretty reasonable. They fixed a mistake from previous local company's work (a furnace condensate drain line that didn't have a trap, so I was getting sewage odors in the house!). It's rare to find a company that's consistently professional and competent, and most importantly, trustworthy."
