"Love Meijer! Their produce department is amazing (tho the cucumbers have been a bit scrawny & raggedy lately). The baked goods are excellent and the employees are friendly and helpful. The prices are a wee bit higher than the big box store across the street, but the quality & selection more than make up for it. Also of note - my medication that costs $300+ elsewhere is under $20 at Meijer with a Good Rx card."
"I usually have an okay experience at Meijer. I went last night. I ran across whipshots vodka. The price says 13.99, but when I rung it up, it was 18.99. The employee said "we can't change the price of alcohol, we could lose our license." If you put it on sale or whatever for 13.99, why is it ringing up for 18.99 and you're saying you can't change the price? She then tells me, if I was buying something else she could subtract the price from the second item to match the 13.99 that the whipshots is posted as. It made no sense to me. When they do price changes for liquor, they need to make sure the sale price is what rings up at checkout."
"So I tried out the Flashapp with Meijer and I thought it was really going to work pretty well. Everything was smooth until I arrived at the store. The lady in front of me decided that she wanted my ground turkey instead of her ground turkey because it was less fat. She took it to the service desk then they refunded her money and gave her mine. When I asked what they were going to do for me, they abruptly told me we'll give you a full refund on your entire order. That was not acceptable, they need to have a better program in place, they need to have their employees in charge not the customer. They need to do like Walmart and go ahead and have the stuff ready for you when you go to pick it up it can't be a free for all that's not going to work out."
