"Not thrilled with the shredded lettuce for the salad. They tried this before and stopped after they said they got compliments (what we were told at the time anyway). However, they did give a discount."
"First time in Peoria and this was the pizza shop that we came across, we saw from other reviews how the coupons on the app/website are great deals. We got a 16 in. pizza for $18.00 and it was a great size and we liked how the pieces were cut small and into squares (shown in picture). The quality of the food wasn’t anything to be impressed with and the pizza tasted just “okay”. We ask got the pepperoni rolls and those came out hot and crispy but the flavor itself wasn’t anything to crave or need to come back from. Only 2 other tables were full on a Thursday night and it seemed like most people order for take out."
"Had a horrible service experience last visit. The server or kitchen messed up the order and didn't tell us why we waited about an hour for a simple pizza to come out. Tables around us were in and out while we sat. Simple communication and a comped drink or anything would have been enough. Instead, we will avoid this Monica's location now."
"Monica's has consistently great pizza. You love it or you don't, but we never get undercooked soggy pizza. Love their pizza, and prices have been consistent as well. Hard working and well managed location here in north Knoxville location, so easy pick up from the heights and Knolls. Wheelchair accessible, plenty of parking, and crispy, tasty pies. Get you some!"
"I would definitely go here again! The food was excellent and The staff (all 2 of them) were the friendliest! I felt badly for them though. I only gave service a 3, not because they were bad, but because they didn't have enough help. It took longer to get our pizza because one gal had to do the truck while the other gal ran the kitchen and front of the house. The truck had to be completed by a certain time. I truly enjoyed talking with these ladies and they did a fabulous job for their situation. They shouldn't be left in a position where they can't service the dining room and kitchen at the same time. I told them I would definitely be back to see them on my next visit to Peoria."
