"So last night I was shopping at around 10pm and I was finishing up some late night shopping and I saw a white manager by the name of Laura talking down to an employee in front of a bunch of customers. Is this really how your managers treat their employees?? It made me uncomfortable as a woman of color to see another woman of color being disrespected while we were still shopping. It made me incredibly uncomfortable to witness. This sweet woman Mary was being cut off and not allowed to speak. We felt incredibly uncomfortable because you don’t do something like that during business hours. Talk to your managers !"

"Never been inside the store, so can't judge on that. But I do know the store manager is a real work. For a company that prides itself on being inclusive and welcoming to people with special needs, this lady is anything but. I reached out to assist my stepson in getting an employment opportunity here, and the manager couldn't have been more rude, condescending, angry, unhelpful, and downright ignorant. I hope someone higher up see's this and looks into this individuals demeaner towards (good) prospective employees with special needs."
"Improvement every day! Was so ticked off at this store I did not shop there for 4 years. My bank is located in the store so I purchased a few small items subsequently I began shopping at the Jewel a few times a month. Now I would recommend the Highland Park Jewel to potential customers. Much better on all levels!"
"The store was very well stocked in some areas and super empty in others. There were lots of employees around to answer any questions. There were also many, many sales as shown in the pictures. They also had Valentine’s Day merchandise out already. I know this has nothing to do with the store itself but the eggs were $7 for 18 which is insane. Overall the store was pretty good and I would recommend it."
