"Drive thru order was terrible! Ordered 12 wings. 6 famous were old, dried out, extremely hard and appeared dark and bruised. Too much time under heat lamp and overall bad chicken! Check order before leaving. That type of food should never be sold to a customer yet appears that they will put whatever in your box to get rid of it when they should have cooked fresh chicken."
"It is an excellent place to dine-in or take food home. My son has been working as a cook, and he says the kitchen is always kept clean. The chicken is cooked to perfection as consistency is the key with cleanliness, marinade, and cooking time. Best place to get chicken in the area."
"I came to the Lee’s in Belleville on Carlyle Ave for lunch and as soon as I walked in the door was greeted by the nicest woman cashier ever! I have never been to a Lee’s before and she helped me with my order. I loved everything she recommended and the price was just right."
"I have eaten at Lee’s many times over the years. It’s the family favorite fried chicken place for a reason. Not so with tonight’s meal: 10 piece dark meat bucket with 2 sides & 5 biscuits. None of the pieces were crispy. I was sooo looking forward to that crispy yummy-ness. Soggy. 1 piece was a chicken drummy masquerading as a leg. And the leg was the only leg in the box & you can see it next to the wing. Finally, the gravy was lumpy. Come on guys! You can do better!"
"I was quite surprised there was not more people here it was lunch time on a Friday and I walked right in and ordered. My food was out quick and the service was good the place was clean and the spicy chicken breast tenders although they didn't have the typical reddish tinge to them had a little heat which I like they were delicious and the mac-n- cheese was also good it's worth a stop if you're looking for chicken."
