"The manager at this Burger King at 106 e Jefferson in shorewood Il made statements like “I hate those ppl” during and encounter regarding something left off our sandwiches. She began yelling at us(my husband & myself) at the top of her voice. She wouldn’t let us explain what the issue was. This manager was so loud that the employees began to walk to the back of the store like she does this often or before. When I ask if she could remake the food and I’ll pay her, her responses was “why would I make the food over”. So I ask for a refund she snatch the bag off the counter and began to start the refund so I tried one last time, asking if she could please remake the food I’ll pay for it bc I was trying to feed my family, and she took the bag thru it in the garbage and when my husband ask for the receipt she took the bag out the garbage and slam it back on counter and began yelling again telling us to get out and how we weren’t getting our money back and how she “hated ppl like us” We had to call the police and she began saying I hate those people she’s (referring to me) privilege. Once the police got there all of a sudden she became quiet needed my card to process the refund. Never mentioning to the officer what if anything we did wrong, it was like they were use to her racist antics and had been there before. I ask the officer what did she mean “those people” I just wanna no who is those ppl! Isn’t that something a racist would say? She’s definitely a racist. I hope Burger King decides to address this asap bc she’s a liability and a harzard for that store. she puts innocent ppl at risk with her racist behavior, refusing to give someone there hard earn money to antagonize a reaction is a deliberate act to get a rise out of people. It’s pretty disgusting to have that type of person working with the public making ppl of certain races feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. I’ll never ever go back there ever! -if I could rate this store with minis No stars bc she’s disgusting and has now offended a retired military vet over a sandwich. Now that we’ve done some research we’re learning that shorewood has a horrible reputation of racism. Not too far away a man stab an 8yr old boy to death! Over racism!!! Disgusting!!! We’re asking ourselves where did we move to. I’m not sure shorewood and Plainfield are safe places for ppl of color. Especially if Burger King doesn’t address and correct this issue. I’m so offended and agitated I think some ppl need to get involved in this bc shes definitely a racist well towards us she was. Just an updated its now a few days later and no one has contacted us from corporate or the owner DISGUSTING and imma let everyone no to never frequent that store bc you maybe verbally attacked. Check your food bc if there’s a mistake made and you try to get it correct bc it’s wrong or you have allergies don’t go back just throw it away bc you’ll be attacked. This particular store is racist from my experience"

"Ordered two double cheeseburgers and received two burgers with barbecue sauce on them. It was the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted in my life. Plz remove whatever that is from your menu and plow your drive thru. Thanks."

"Waited much longer than usual and I’m honestly fine with that but it makes no sense that I waited for so long to be served cold and stale food . You can just tell by the picture I’m uploading how long they leave food out at this location . Onion rings were so old and nasty , fries cold , nuggets were cold and so was the burger so it’s weird because it’s not like they were waiting on something fresh to serve me ."

"Great quality BK food here and quick service. Staff handling two separate, entitled Karens who couldn’t be asked to wait for their orders or drive thru line during the few minutes we were waiting for our order. The staff was great and respectful in dealing with these unhinged individuals, 5 stars for putting up with all that."

"I usually won't leave reviews for food chain restaurants but this location has been serving the best Whopper!!! I have been coming to this location more than 10 years whenever I crave for a juicy Whopper. I have never received bad food or service even once. But I think the fries comes with the meal is pretty small!! The restaurant was pretty clean today, the cashier helped right away, she could have use a little smile for my opinion."
