McDonald's

"Had an interview at 3:30, and I had shown up 10 minutes early. I went to the counter and told the man working that I had an interview. He went to the back to get someone, then I proceeded to wait 40 minutes before I got up to say something. It was the same man again, and I told him how long I was waiting, and he said he would go get someone, only to grab a bag off the counter and walk outside. I waited another 20 minutes before J spoke to another woman. I try not to be that person, but I was reasonably angry. She said she'd get someone, but went right back to working instead. I asked someone working the floor to get me his manager, and it was the same woman. She said to give her 5 minutes, and I waited another 15. At this point, it was almost 5:00, and someone finally came to interview me, and I didn't even get to do the full interview. All she asked for my availability and where I had previously worked. She was clearly in a rush, not talking in full sentences. I spent almost two hours in there, only for a five minute interview. I would have rather rescheduled than wait that long. I get that this is a fast food restaurant, and people are busy, but come on."

"Really weird experience at this place. It feels more like a room with seats. You no longer have the option of getting your own drink because the fountain machines are gone. They have computers to order on and if you want to use a register with a person, you have fmto flag them down. Napkins, ketchup, straw, etc are now on a dine-in tray at the pick up counter. Feels depressing in there like a "eat-and-get-out" feeling."

"The interior is awful, the style looks like prison cafeteria chic. They do not even keep napkins out, why? You have to order from a kiosk and they don’t even quite grasp the process. It was clean and the staff was friendly, but whatever corporate bozo chose this aesthetic should be reassigned to the mail room along with the supervisor who approved the design. The parking lot was also a bit ridiculous competing with the drive through line to get a spot, but I do not blame the drivers for not wanting to come inside. Because like I said it’s awful. I want to point out one interaction as well, when I was leaving with my son the manager asked his name. We told her and she told my son to wait right there, and then she came back with a happy meal toy. He was thrilled and I appreciated her genuine hospitality."

"Don’t go here if you want a incompetent manager handing out your food, food also messed up and just poor service, asked for 2 hamburgers with no pickle add lettuce and got 2 plain hamburgers with just lettuce, which I just asked for them to be remade the correct way, got 2 double hamburgers messy af. And when I said all I wanted was a hamburger not a double hamburger the manager just said well it’s just a extra piece of meat. Very rudely after I just wanted to make sure I didn’t get the wrong order. Don’t go here."

"Extremely disappointed with the quality of our food. Yes we got it extremely fast, and yes we understand this is fast food however we don't expect to sacrifice quality for speed. The fries have that soft gummy feel, so you know they've been sitting under that heat lamp for a very long time. The nuggets were worse. I'm guessing they made a batch for lunch and by 6 no one wanted to try the spicy nuggets so I got the batch that's been sitting out for a few hours. They were like room temperature warm, the breading was rubber and the chicken also rubber. Just cooking in that heatlamp. My son's burger with the happy meal was fine, but his fries were old like mine. Feels like they premade food for dinner rush, so they could pump through the lines. It sucks because McDonald's can scratch that itch when you have it, but when it's bad, it's spectacularly bad. This one is convenient because it's so close but we have 2 others 5 minutes away. That's where I'll be going if I decide I want to spin the wheel of disappointment and try McDonald's again (this isn't the first time we've neen disappointed, but this prompted this review)"
