"First time eating here...loved it!! I had the blackened shrimp and alligator. The flavor was amazing on both of them, however the alligator was very chewy. Not a fan, but had amazing flavor! Also had the beer battered mushrooms.. 10/10!! Breading on the mushrooms was light and not greasy at all. Abby our server was amazing! Highly recommend Cherry Pockets!"
"What an excellent choice! We wanted to experience the outdoor environment, but it was a bit too cold for us. There was live music. We sat indoors and still had a wonderful experience! Food was amazing! We had battered mushrooms, which were homemade and huge! So delicious and not at all greasy or heavy. Most of us had the grouper, different ways. One ordered the shrimp and alligator tail. Everything was delicious, we didn’t care for the alligator, it was tough and dry. Would not order again or recommend. Our server Abby was wonderful! She was prompt and very caring."
"This place is really awesome. As you walk up to the entrance, there are literal baby gators swimming around. This restaurant is on the water and looks to be located in an area where a ton of people live. You'll know what I mean when you get here.. The fact that we could get a table without issue was awesome! The servers are great. The food is crazy delicious. I mean 10/10 delicious. Wish there was more for what you pay for, though. It was $14.50 for one crab cake. Would have been more pleased with seeing 2 on there with the portion given for the one. That and the fries were 10/10. The beer battered shrimp were HEAVENLY with their spin on cocktail sauce. It's fresh and tropical tasting. 20/10 easily. Will order that when I come back for sure. The coleslaw is some of the best I've had as well. 10/10."
"Wow! What a gem! I loved everything about Cherry Pocket. The food and service were excellent! The atmosphere was fish camp fun! Lively and laid-back! The prices were reasonable! This kind of establishment is what makes life in Florida so special. Highly recommended! I look forward to returning!"
