"Went through the drive thru for lunch with our two dogs. We were greeted by a very, very nice gal, who patiently guided us through the ordering process. I believe her name was Diana & she was wonderful explaining the menu to us. Food, brisket for both of us, was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, thanks to a very accommodating Diana."
"We stopped in for lunch on a Monday about 1:30. We were greeted by a nice staff. I ordered the lunch, baby back ribs with coleslaw and collard greens. It came with an onion ring, and a nicely toasted piece of Texas bread. The food was very good! My wife ordered the daily special which was a pulled pork sandwich with fries. She said it was very good. I tasted the fries which were cooked properly, but needed salt. We had water and coffee. The coffee tasted really good. The bathrooms could really use a good cleaning. The floors and the walls were dirty."

"If you are a BBQ connoisseur, do not go here. The bbq pork completely lacked any flavor. The sausage links were store bought and tasted charcoal grilled like I was at a tailgate. The collards were dry, under cooked and completely lacked flavor. Worse BBQ I’ve had in a long time. RESPONSE: It sounds like you are discrediting the validity of my experience at your restaurant. Further, the sausage that you state has not been served in several months was served to me on 01.07.24. Are you admitting that your staff served me old/out-dated sausage? That doesn’t seem like a very responsible thing to admit. Secondly, your server was extremely busy. When I approached to pay and was asked how the food was, I relayed that the food was awful. I specifically made a point to have the cashier tell the chef to just try the collards. The cashier stated “we are not allowed to eat any of the food”. How do you assure quality if you do not allow the staff to try the food. Finally, after going through reviews and your responses, it appears as if the quality at this restaurant has gone down significantly and it is evident in the recent drop in your average ratings. It may be time to take a look inward and stop trying to discredit the individual customer’s experience."
