"My family used to stay at Sunburst many years ago, so we decided it was time to revisit. We stayed in unit #112, and sadly I cannot recommend this unit. The sectional sofa was newer but the rest of the furniture was second hand at best. The bathroom, while the sink and vanity were new, the dirty walls and baseboards were gross. And the fact that there is an outlet and light switch right next to the sink - not a gfi - was a safety hazard. There were no gfi outlets in the condo, I checked. Also the throw rugs were a slip and fall hazard - no nonslip backing and yes I did trip over one before moving all of them. Unit is in serious need of renovation especially the electric. Extension cords were every where."

"We have been going to the Sunburst for about 35 years. We’ve seen managers come and go. Manasota Key did a great job setting us up and responded quickly. We were there with family and friends this year, 5 units total. The other 4 were beautiful and clean… ours was not. We were in unit 142 and have stayed there before. My parents rented it every year, but it used to look nice. This owner has cheap old thrift store looking furniture in there, kitchen faucet leaks, very small toilets, with stains, floors were Sandy when arrived, dried drip marks down the side of stove, coffee pot dirty and old coffe filter still in pot, and over all not cleaned well… and you pay for cleaning. The property is still great , but this condo gets a thumbs down."

"Stayed over Memorial Day weekend 2021. Awesome condo 122 . Parking is hard on the beach side, you have to park under the condo. Large trucks and SUVs will find that parking is very hard. There are no extra parking for 2nd quest parking or none marked. Fishing docks on the inter costal as great shaded in after noon. You are right on the beach if you rent the beach side. Awesome that they have 4 day stays for short weekends. Gas Grills to Bbq on."

"Great location, and love that there’s a pool for when the kids have had too much sun at the beach. Been coming for 20+ years now. New management company is so-so. Places not very clean, dirt, and tons of dust. Disappointed in the cleanliness. Last 3 visits were the same in the last 2 years (not very clean and end up cleaning the unit ourselves when we arrive)."
