Grove City Motel

"We stayed just overnight at this motel during a road trip and we arrived late and left a bit early, so we didn’t meet the staff. I spoke on the phone with someone, though, and they were truly nice and accommodating. 5 stars for the guest services. The motel is a bit outdated, as the other reviews say, but it was clean and large, and the bed was super comfortable and the shower was good. If I didn’t have my next night booked I would have stayed an extra night here. Recommended."

"I was hoping that the reviews that stated the rooms were clean were correct. When I entered the room I was instantly hit with the smell of stale cigarette smoke, even though the motel is non-smoking. The room was in need of updating but I would have been ok with that if the room would have been clean. The bathroom floor had a layer of dirt that easily wiped off with a tissue. The box spring had visible stains and the mattress had a plastic cover that didn't fit well and moved everytime we did. I've included pictures of the mattress cover, box spring and floor. For the amount of money charged, I was expecting a clean room."

"We stay at this quiet motel Dec 24-28th. It was exactly what we needed. Affordable, clean, close to family and the beach. We enjoyed the kitchenette which allowed us to prepare meals instead of eating out every meal. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, than you won't enjoy your stay here, but if affordable, clean, close to the beach is important to you, then this a great hidden treasure."

"Great place to rest your head, rooms are clean, tidy, spacious and the staff who checked us in was awesome. Very kind and easy to communicate with. Showed me around room and made sure all lights were on before I came in and it's those little things that are old school but matter that seem to be a dying trait amongst these newer places. I believe his name is Johnny attractive, clean cut, nicely groomed... and he is the reason if needed in the area again he's gonna be my first call! I'm usually a Hyatt guy so that says a lot!"

"Clean and cute inside. It was decent for the location/ price. Back of hotel has what could be a truly serene area it just needs cleaned up and cared for a little better. Lot's of tree's and other foliage. The outside front needs some tender loving care. The pool was very nice it is in the back and is surrounded by the trees. The Manager was nice. We stayed for nights. We were not offered any housekeeping or any other attention, we didn't ask for any either. We were satisfied with our stay overall. The little restaurant next to it( Coffee and Friends) ( I think that's the name) was very good. We would stay here again."
