Tropical Escape 30A

"DO NOT RENT FROM TROPICAL ESCAPE 30A!!! We rented Dreamcatcher cottage in Seaside. The property is in disrepair & rental agency had little to no knowledge of property or Seaside. Freezer quit working (we lost contents) & maintenance did not come out til the next day, front door was missing the door knob (you had to pull it closed using the keypad lock - which also did not work), roof leaked when it rained, house smelled of mold from the moment we walked in, oven button did not work, back deck steps were rotten & broken, floor in master closet was so rotten we dared not put a suitcase on it for fear of it falling through to the ground, did not give us enough armbands for beach access (required by Seaside) when we checked in (took them til the next day to drop off more), did not provide Wifi password til I contacted them & asked for it & we didn't get the bike access code for use of 2 bikes until the day before we checked out. When you call their main office number to complain, you get an answering service (with crying kids in the background & difficult to hear) who didn't even know how to pronounce 30A. Never once did they offer any discount for lost services. What a shame! This company has no business in Seaside!"

"Well let me start by saying that planning any family vacation with a large family with so many opinions is one of the most frustrating things that a human being can put themselves through. I wanted to pull my hair out at so many stages of this whole planning experience, but thankfully Tropical Escape made it a whole lot easier for me and accommodated me every step of the way. My vacation specialist Krystal Bertrand was such a great help and very attentive and everyone else that I had to work with. The property was great with so much space for our large family. We had several lounge/tv watching areas so that we could spread out and not be on top of each other. The house was well equipped with items except for towels and wash cloths which we were warned about due to the holiday week. Everyone loved the house and really enjoyed it. We were never able to get the pool heated or the hot tub even when someone came out. We paid extra for the use of a heated pool but due to the temps of that week it never got up warm enough for some of us. The house came with additional folding tables that we were able to use for the holiday which was very helpful. The kids and teenagers really enjoyed the game room and the movie room. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and will use Tropical Escape again for our future needs. Thank you."

"House was beautiful, dishwasher was broken , roaches coming out of the dishwasher, called for maintenance no one came out to fix it , but they kept sending the exterminator out & he kept spraying to draw the roaches instead of killing roaches.. it was during thanksgiving week.cooked a lot of food . we were unable to use the dishwasher and could leave any food out for one minute.. this made it hard to enjoy our thanksgiving dinner and stay.. & back sliding glass door would not lock.."

"The home was lovely and spacious- the nicest home we have ever rented. The layout of the home allowed much privacy for adult members of our family and children. I highly recommend it to others. The kitchen supplies were a little scarce as we had to go out and purchase dish drying towels and cloths. There were no serving dishes at all. A little more attention to kitchen supplies and the stay would’ve been perfect. The community is all brand new construction. Very lovely. Checking in and out was simple and the online process was painless as well. Thank you for the opportunity to make memories with our family in this very lovely home."

"Had another amazing experience with Tropical Escape. This was our second time using them and already reserved for the third time. Great house, great customer care, and great over all experience. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for it. We had blast. Will definitely reserve with them again!"
