"From the time I was admitted to the hospital which was a little bit after eleven pm I was placed on a list for a MRI for my Multiple sclerosis (MS) I was told that I was going to be getting one as soon as possible. Then the next day I was told that I was put at the bottom of the list due to the fact that it was being edited to do more testing during my MRI. Then nobody had a correct answer for me on when and if I was going to get one that day. At this point, it has already been a little over 12 hours and no one has given me any information. The nurses did not even know what type of medication to give me due to the fact that I didn't receive one yet. Every time I asked when I was going to be getting my MRI I was always told. We're still waiting to find out maybe today. Or maybe tomorrow we just have to wait. At this point, it had already been almost a full 24 after me. Being in a room but a total of 27 hours of me being at the hospital. I cannot afford to stay at the hospital for 2 to 3 days at a time for the fact that I have a job to do and a family to support and cannot afford all of this time off Waiting for one simple test to be done. So with my experience. I think the staff needs to do a little bit better job. Trying to find out as much information as possible to ensure the patient that they are not being left behind or upset on the back burner to simply just bring some knowledgeable information to the table. Besides, the simple answer of I don't know.."

"This hospital was pretty good. We chose it because it’s near our home. Check in was good. The admitting nurse, Melissa, was very professional and thorough. The hospital lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas. I’m not Seven-Day Adventist, but I loved all the scripture around the hospital. After surgery, I felt I got a lot of attention the first day, then not as much the next day. There were a lot of people coming and going from my room. There was probably three shifts of different people. However, everyone was very nice. A couple of the Spanish nurses called me “Mommy,” which I don’t think is very professional. Also, I wasn’t able to eat food, just a liquid diet, so I don’t know about the food. My husband was given a guest lunch one time, but not at other times. In fact, when my husband was a patient in this hospital, no one offered me a guest meal. It took forever to get my medications from the pharmacy, which delayed my going home for a long time. Otherwise, it was a pretty good stay."
