"I don’t understand why administration is writing their own five star reviews when you know this is a one star school. There were no reviews until whoever wrote that true review yesterday about this money seeking school. I myself paid cash but I know many other students who were being hounded about paying. There is a facebook nursing group and this school is mentioned by numerous past and present students all saying how horrible the teaching method and additional fees were for them."

"I was working as a school nurse and my assistant wanted to go back to school to up her skill level. She contacted SMTL, she was given a scholarship to enroll in the CNA class. She enrolled and completed the CNA program and now has the skills and confidence and she want to continue to become a LPN. SMTL is not only a place to lean but place to grow as an individual"

"I was always taught in life to never forget about the people, who have helped you in life. So, I want to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the SMTL School of Faith & Nursing. This school played a big role in helping me become a nurse, and I think it's important to share my story in this review. First, I want to say thank you to all the amazing people who work at SMTL, the instructors and the entire staff. They were a big part of helping me learn how to be a nurse, and they were always there to help me when I needed it. Before I wrote this review, I read some other reviews about SMTL. I saw one review that said the school was money hungry. I would like to bring some clarification from that statement because I personally attended SMTL for the LPN program, which cost $8,000. However, I got help from Career Source, and they paid $7,000, so I only had to pay $1,000. They let me pay that $1,000 over nine months, which was $111 each month. I thought this was pretty fair, especially since the program is approved by the Board of Nursing. Some other places charge over $15,000 for the same thing. I really recommend SMTL School of Faith & Nursing to anyone who wants to be a nurse. They not only teach you nursing but also help you grow as a person. When I was there, I learned about myself, and it helped me become a better nurse. I want to say thank you to everyone at SMTL again. I hope they keep helping more people like they helped me."

"This is one money hungry school! I would not recommend at all! All they do is stress you out about money money MONEY!!! They have a poor instructor and half way teach you what you need to know and they are very unorganized! I tried supporting a black owned school but all they do is tell you lies and set you up for failure! Tia Rhynes is very unprofessional and a rude individual like this is not for her! Please stay away from this school and this is the most honest review! Save yourself guys unless you want to teach yourself and put in so much work to have them fail you"
