"My husband, daughter and I were in here yesterday around 4pm and while shopping I had grabbed some loose powder for my face but later decided that I didn't want it after all and just sat in down in one of the isles. We continued to do our shopping and then proceeded to check out. After the cashier was done ringing us up, another lady whom worked there took the receipt from my daughter and was looking it over? I really didn't think too much of it other than it seemed odd and once the lady was done she gave it back to the cashier whom then handed it back to us and we left the store and headed to our car. Next thing we know, the lady who was looking over the receipt came outside and very rudely said she needed to see where I had put the makeup down at?! I honestly didn't know what exact spot it was because we were in there for some time and bought a lot of things so she then proceeds to take a picture of our license plate! When my husband asked what she was doing she said just making sure the cops have a way to find you. After making that statement I got pretty enraged and followed the woman back into the store telling her she had no right making accusations and being so rude. I told her she was more than welcome to come to the car and search it but she refused and stated they have cameras that have numerous angles to them. So I am just like, okay well good luck with all that because there will be nothing on her cameras because no one took anything. At this point I am still a little angry about the situation because not only was it embarassing but my husband and I feel like we had been profiled for the simple fact that we both have tattoos and piercings! I guess that gives people the right to assume we are dishonest criminals and thieves! I plan to contact the corporate office about this matter and I will NEVER shop at this Dollar General again. I am sure there are tons of people who put things down after grabbing something while shopping because they later changed their minds. But we were probably targeted as soon as we hit the door based solely on our appearance. This is what is wrong with the world... People are always so quick to judge others and no one knows how to treat people equally."
