"Dear Target, On 1/9/2024, my granddaughter and I visited your store to purchase a few items. We encountered an issue when we couldn't find the juice we were looking for, as it was out of stock on the shelf. However, our disappointment turned into resilience when a kind lady, who happened to be African American, offered to assist us and promptly found what we needed. While I appreciate her support, I must express my concern about the behavior of another employee named Brittany. She helps a white couple instead of attending to our needs. Nevertheless, I want to focus on the positive experience with the helpful employee who assisted us. It is my sincere hope that all customers, regardless of their background, can receive equal and respectful treatment. As consumers, we should be valued and acknowledged, as our contributions matter too. Thank you for your attention to this matter."

"I went to target yesterday and had a horrible experience with one worker specifically. All of the other workers and the manager I encountered were very nice and approchable. However, this worked named Laura was extremely rude to me and my sister. She was arguing with another worker who was helping us. And as being snappy with me and my sister. She told my sister (in a very condescending tone) “math is math” while rolling her eyes at us. This was all over a 20% discount on the books we were purchasing because we were told the books would have an extra 20% taken off at the register and she wanted to cause a scene. I’m giving 5 stars because this is the only bad experience I’ve had at target and one bad person isn’t going to ruin my view on the establishment, however she doesn’t know how to communicate with costumers and doesn’t belong is customer service."

"Just had the nastiest interaction with a balding red-headed employee with facial hair that looked like he was in his 40s in the parking lot at this location. I parked my car, got out and was approached by a very well spoken, well dressed young man who asked me to sign a petition. I let the gentleman know that I had already signed it, but that I appreciated his efforts. We were then approached by the Target employee who told the young man that he needed to leave immediately. He said there was no soliciting which I understand absolutely, but he was rude for no reason. The young man was not accosting people inside of the store or even close to the entrance. Common sense says a large parking lot with many stores in the plaza is a public space. The young man was respectful and said that he was leaving but asked me for my Instagram before he left. The Target employee turned around and told him he needed to leave immediately. I interjected and told him that he had asked for my Instagram and was not soliciting. He claimed the young man was trying to sell me a windshield and was asking about my insurance. I have no cracks in my windshield and I can assure you I understand words and he asked for my Instagram. The Target employee was incredibly unprofessional and made me feel, as a customer, unwelcome. After he told the young man once more to leave immediately I said I will as well. He told me I did not have to leave but I did let him know that I was not interested in going to the store if that's the way the employees spoke to people. I spend thousands of dollars at Target and know that is not what the company as a whole stands for. I buy the majority of my clothes, house hold goods and groceries at this location for my family of 5. I will now find other options or another Target location. I did not get this gentleman's name but I'm sure that anyone that works in the Oakleaf Target or shops there would recognize him. I got in my car and left and drove to the Southside Target which is 35 minutes farther from my home. Shame on this employee. I understand he had a job to do but so did the young man and a little decency goes a long way."
