"I was aware of the Gessler/Bay Care merger. I had an appointment with Dr. Harrison in early December 2023. I called Gessler and talked to billing to see if my Humana plan would be covered for my December visit. The clerk checked and said it would be. I arrived for my appointment, went to the second floor to check in. They were were checking my card when I was called to see the doctor. After the doctor was in the room and talking to me a person came in an said I would be charged an out of network fee of 65.00 instead of my 5.00 copay. I didn’t want to embarrass either my self or the Doctor so I let him continue the exam. I don’t feel that I should have to pay this 65.00 copay. They should not have taken me to the exam room before telling the copay because I would have left. I should not have been in the room until that was explained especially since was just after the merger."
"I have been using Dr Christain for many years and when it comes time for my 90 day renewal for my blood pressure meds, he is no longer there.I have reached out to the new Clinic they do not take our insurance just lost him as a doctor. This is not good practice leaving patience w/o a back up doctor. I now am in search of a doctor when I have ran out of meds. This is not good. Thanks for NOT LETTING ANYONE KNOW.."
"I’ve had nothing but great care at this clinic, there have been a couple of bumps in in the last twenty years and those bumps have been timely in resolving any mis-communication that may occur. I just wish they would keep an endocrinologist or urologist on staff for longer than they have in the past. I believe this hiccup will resolve itself now that they are in cahoots with BayCare.."
"Don’t ever ever ever see Dr. Martino when expecting. Without fail, she is ALWAYS BEHIND. I have been waiting in office for 2 hours, have yet to see her. Dr. Jardine however, is wonderful, and is respectful of patients time. I understand getting behind, but EVERY TIME for HOURS at a time? People have jobs, kids, responsibilities, etc."
"I went to see my primary doctor and they said I had to see financial services before I could be seen. When I arrived at the financial department. They said I had a bill from 2016 which was 7 years prior. How am I supposed to dispute a bill from 7 years ago when I can't even find any Bank payments, etc. The bill was $632, I paid 332 dollars. However, I will be searching for a different medical facility. I feel this is very unethical for a company to be rein that way."
