"Went Friday night. 1st time. Absolutely loved the food, people and atmosphere. The only thing I wasn’t in love with was their “sweet tea”. I wish they had option of southern sweet tea. I highly recommend this place! It is added to our date nights, take home dinners and whatever excuse we can come up with!"

"Delicious brisket, but very expensive. $22.00 for a dinner with two sides. The collards taste canned, but the potato salad tasted fresh and homemade. The chicken breast was dry, but tasted good. The portion is quite small with a dinner being a chicken wing and half a breast it almost isn't enough for an adult. I've stopped here several times and always do take-out and head to a local park to eat it. They are very good with preparing take-outs that don't end up a greasy mess all over your car so I appreciate that. I almost understand the high price on the brisket, but Walmart has already smoked, and sliced, for an entire half of a brisket for the same price. This is not an insult to the owner, I'm merely pointing it out. I've smoked them myself and know how much work goes into creating a great smoked beef brisket. $40 for lunch is an extravagance for us, so we only eat here occasionally."

"Food here is great! Came out hot, fresh and fast! The beef brisket was a little bit tough, and we thought the redneck fries were covered too much in cheese sauce! The server working was impressive! She was by herself, packed full with tables and still gave great service!"
