The food was delicious and very authentic, we had the 水煮魚 (Sichuan spicy fish) and the 麻辣香鍋 (dry hot pot) with sesame sauce and both were excellent with reasonable prices (£15 and £19). The service was fast and workers were very nice. Cozy space, clean bathrooms — just a very positive overall experience and can’t wait to go back!”

“Was our first time trying Malaysian food and they didn’t disappoint. Everything is halal and you can have the wine removed from all dishes apart from a couple of the beef dishes. The food was really tasty and reasonable prices. The staff are really nice and friendly- even though the bubble tea counter was closed, they still made us bubble teas which was really lovely of them. Would definitely recommend and will definitely visit again when in Edinburgh.”

We are traveling from the USA and accidentally left my purse with passports when we left Bento… they contacted us and kept it safe until we could pick it up the next day!!! “Lovely atmosphere and lovely staff. The first meal I ate there was the nicest Thai meal I had in a very long time. They made me a special request that I wanted which wasn’t on the menu and recommended a sauce which was delicious. The heat was intense and so were the flavours. Lovely herbs and spices. “Treasure Cottage is one of the best Chinese Takeaways in West Edinburgh City. The food is super tasty, the portion sizes are generous, the prices are reasonable, every order has been fantastic! I love that you have the option to have wet or dry food, some places don't offer that. The sweet and sour sauce is a bit too sweet and artificial, it would be nice to have a homemade one with white onions in it as it's very chemically. The Satay sauce could be a bit thicker too, just my opinion/suggestion. Apart from that we always have a great takeaway from here and we would highly recommend! Delivery times are usually around 60-90 minutes so best to order early but obviously it's changes depending on where you live etc.”

“A lot of really nice and somewhat unique dishes for a Chinese take-away. I order here a lot and I am rarely let down by what I have. We always order using the website for collection because it comes out cheaper, is better for the business, and we often receive a call from them to let us know it'll be ready in 15 minutes. Only negative is that the website design is often confusing and unintuitive.”

“I love Thai food and this place in Edinburgh serves one of the best Thai food. Starting from spring rolls followed by vegetable Raman, veg pad Thai noodles and my favourite veg Thai green curry. Staff is also very nice. A must visit place for Thai food lovers.”
