“This was our first visit and we were very pleased. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The staff are very friendly. The food is first class and nicely presented. Lek was our server and she has a fantastic sense of humour and willing to chat, I like that. Visit this restaurant and you will enjoy it.”

“Excellent dinner. We went for the vegetarian set menu for the two of us, and it was an absolute treat! Deep-fried aubergine was delicious. Plenty of food and the staff were happy to box up the remaining to take home. Would visit again.”

“There should be a queue across the car park to get in here. Never had anything short of excellent, with a big menu and friendly service. For large groups the banquets offer a huge selection on your table at a bargain price.”

“Been here 3 times and got takeaway too. Food is amazing. Had the omelette breakfast, paye and channa. All were incredible especially the paye. The tea is really good too, not too sweet so you can add sugar to taste. Humble business and owners makes the experience even better and I felt I had to leave a review as I would love this place to flourish. Don’t see the need to go chaiwala again.”

“Arrived for the early bird menu on Sunday. Very competitive pricing, starters were served 5 minutes after ordering and main was served within 5 minutes of our starter plates being taken away. Staff were friendly and attentive. Would have been nice during our main course for someone to ask us if everything was OK with the food or if we needed anything but apart from this everything was excellent. Would highly recommend.”

“Fantastic little find. Had a day out visiting museums in Derby, and purely went to the nearest 5 star review on Google maps. Also had never had bao buns before so seemed even better, shared a portion of chicken katsu buns and a portion of beef randang buns, fantastic flavours and perfectly sated out hunger.”

“Very good local chip shop. There are many reasons for this. To start the staff there are amazing, theyre kind and chatty which makes the experince easy. Then theres the speed. Their speed is great and my orders are always dkne very quickly. Finally there is the convince. This is because there is the shop just next to there chip shop which can be used when waiting for your order. All in all a great place for food.”

“We ordered a takeaway from here and couldn't fault it! We ordered a chicken red thai curry, chicken massaman curry and crispy pork belly stir fry. All the dishes were fresh and tasty - all good sized portions. It was ready for collection within 25 minutes, friendly service and we even got a free beer!”

“Excellent old pub. Great beer that is brewed on site and a nice selection of ciders. Lots of different rooms / places to drink inside which adds to that cozy feeling. Very friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend a visit. Also works well if your looking for a quick pint in between trains.”

“Had the most amazing Indian cuisine here. I went with my family and there were 6 of us. My wife is Indian and wanted the dishes cooked in the traditional style (Desi) and very spicy, the staff couldn’t do enough for us and nothing was to much trouble. We have lived in Derby for nearly 15 years and have desperately wanted a good Indian restaurant we could go to.. I can honestly say we have found that in Red Chilli. All the dishes were just how we requested it and we can’t wait to go back. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you all soon.”

“Nice and freshly cooked Indian dishes, takeaway and delievry service available. The good thing is you can bring your own alcohol, which you can buy at aldi or tesco just across the road, but you have to purchase soft drinks from restaurant.”
