Not one for hyperbole but when it says 5 stars it means 5 star service, from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave you know you are somewhere special, the staff are superb. Druid Cottage
● OpenSneem Road, County Kerry, Ireland“Philip and Bernadette are wonderful hosts who delighted us with their perfect breakfasts and very helpful hints on how to travel the surrounds taking in the best sights in safe and interesting ways. We were introduced to others at our long breakfast table..adventurous people from all over Europe..this was a wise move easing any awkwardness. The only thing I missed was a stair rail as I have uncooperative knees and the stairs are quite steep. We strongly recommend Druid Cottage and would love to return soon.”

Killarney Avenue Hotel
● Open“The hotel itself was beautiful, in the middle of the town, close to the cinema, shoos etc. Parking however was very limited do had to park in a near-by carpark which made it difficult with bags , pram and all that goes with baby. Overall however, it wad a very comfortable, friendly and relaxed experience”

Killarney Royal Hotel
● Open“The hotel is a 3 minute walk from the train station and 3 minute walk to the main street and shopping. It is east to access anything in town by walking from it. The room (King Suite) was big and clean and you were greeted with a handwritten postcard. Bathroom was big, beds were comfortable and the TV had netflix which we greatly appreciated. Staff was friendly and the price was fair! Our only note was the window had 0 view since we were looking at a concrete wall and we heard pigeons from it but certainly wasn’t a big issue since it still earned 5-stars. The provided water was the best tasting we had throughout our trip and the chocolates were such a nice surprise! Definitely recommend.”

Great Southern Killarney
● Open“This beautiful hotel has become one of my go-to places when visiting Killarney. Whether for lunch, early dining or evening live entertainment, the decor, family friendly welcome and atmosphere set the scene for a time out break in a very relaxing classically enduring setting that takes you back to a time when the pace of life was slower allowing more time to take in and appreciate the timeless environment. The food has been great quality with the key being a non extensive menu of consistently well presented and tasteful gastronomic dishes. The lounge atmosphere sets the pace of relaxation while the tireless multitasking staff fulfill orders and requests with swift service and capacity for the most discerning customers in mind. Families with children are felt welcome and well accommodated for by the provision of a supervised playroom showing movies for kids and with arts and crafts and play. Follow the hotel lobby to the right and you'll find Browne's bar, serving a great selection of renowned whiskies and local beer. I was fortunate to experience live entertainment at Browne's where even kids danced, much to the amusement of patrons. The grounds are beautifully kept to maintain its timeless Georgian air with weddings a frequent testimony to capture that special day. And what would accompany such a elegant establishment but a fine health spa. Looking forward to my next recharge.”

Molly Gallivans Visitor Centre
● Open“Definitely worth calling in if you're travelling the N71, near Bonane. We're out of season travellers, so it was very quiet, combined with some fairly heavy Irish drizzle - probably not helping either - but fab time to visit !!! Great story about the Irish way of life, individual determination in the most dire of situations and very much a living museum, with livestock etc. The little cottage holds only a small part of this remarkable story. Although a bit of a walk up, it's well worth walking round the farm yard, see the film in a warm, watertight barn, and then there's quite a substantial gift/craft shop. A little cafe, toilets etc. Massive of unrestricted parking. And .... you're asked for a donation on the way out, which we thought was brilliant.”
