"Just want to shout out Brandon who helped me with a tire swap, added a bell to keep me safe and install a small pump with his honest voice of "I personally haven't used that bike pump, but there are others that I don't recommend highly, so I think it's worth a shot." I rode to work this morning with ease and felt safer doing so."
"Bought a $3K e-bike and a $250 child bike seat from REI. When I went to go pick it up, the folks at the shop told me I needed to purchase and additional $50 adapter for the seat. I asked multiple people if they were sure as I didn't think it needed an adapter. Since everyone said I did I went ahead and got one. Turns out I did not need an adapter, which was very obvious when you open the bike seat. There was also a lot of tape left on the bike after they put it together. All in all did not create a lot of confidence in the bike staff. I bet they are probably great for bicycles but for higher end e-bikes I would recommend going somewhere else that are more familiar with the bikes."
"Had me waiting in line for about 20 minutes while an old guy who was supposed to be there to help customers was chatting with other people there, when he finally saw me, he just didn't even said anything even though he saw me I was waiting in line, then when he finally checked out my bike, I asked him questions and he was like " ok, I don't know what to tell you but you are good to go". Seems like people like this shouldn't be working in a place where they don't like to be. Don't want to come back here ever again."
