"Phones are starting to get better and we’re able to access more on follow my health and can communicate with providers and schedule our own appointments if needed. Requested for reminder texts with their new system. It’s a work in progress, but it’s a huge turn around at Horizon now that It switched over to Optum/New West. They have a great staff team and remodeled office at the Thornton location. I feel they are actually trying to do better. Green valley office closed, but they have another office in Aurora and through out Colorado."

"The experience I just had at Horizon primary care was HORRIBLE. I felt like a sheep just being shuffled around. The doctor spent less than 2 mins talking to me and didn’t give me a chance to ask any questions. The phlebotomist was watching tv on her phone and got huffy when I asked her to fix an error on the lab order. The floor was gross and dirty. Their bathroom was broken so I had to walk all the way to the other side of the building to leave a urine sample. I spent more time getting my blood drawn than the doctor spent looking at me or talking to me. There was clutter all over the phlebotomy station, trash on the floor, old Christmas decorations shoved in a box in the corner. This office did not seem welcoming to new patients. I had a late afternoon appointment and it felt like they were trying to get me in and out as fast as possible. I understand wanting to go home at the end of the day but you still have to do your job. I work in a doctors office and it’s clear that they did not take pride in their work or their environment. I will not be coming back to this office and I encourage others to find care elsewhere."

"I agree with so many reviews here. The doctors and PA changed frequently. I used to see Dr. C and Dr. Ackerman for my kids pediatrician. They are no longer with this practice. While I love Tori Cohen PA, the front desk team who answer calls and set up appointments is hard to get hold off. The last time I called (4 weeks ago), I was caller number 19 and waited close to 40 minutes. My husband had to go there and set up his appointment since it is hard to get someone through the phone. We have been utilizing Urgent Care closer to home, more than ever because it is hard to set up appointments with Horizon Primary Care. They changed management but nothing really change. I understand it is hard to find someone who wants to work but it is now 2 years with no improvement in how the front desk team works. The medical assistants and the doctors are fine…. If you can get in to see them."

"DO NOT use this office because it is very unorganized and unprofessional. We have been with this practice for 9 years and the customer service with the exception of doctors has declined tremendously. It took eleven days to receive my childs test results, glad it wasn't anything dire. It is difficult to get the receptionist to answer the phone majority of the time. My most recent experience was waiting on hold for an hour and thirty-two minutes before they hung up on me and turned off the phones 15 minutes prior to the office's closing time. And when i tried to call back the on-call service answered immediately. Doctors here are great but everything/everyone else is frustrating. Definitely looking for a new practice and would suggest any prospects to do the same. The urgent care in the same parking lot is awesome, FYI."

"I've been coming here for 6 years solely out of desperation, but I would rate zero stars. Every time you call you're on hold for 45 minutes. Appointments take over 2 hours because your waiting 90 minutes to see someone even if you arrive early. The doctors here truly do not care about your best interest. Whitney Harrington literally told us today she wasn't willing to diagnose my son due to insurance. Why should that matter when a child is needing help?!? They don't listen, it's been a miserable experience for years. Their patient care and customer service is negligent. Changing management companies 3 times hasn't improved anything. This place is a sad excuse for a medical practice."
