“It was my first visit here today and the shop is great. I live out of Cardiff and have wanted to come here for a while so while in the area we did stop by. It was great to find ingredients here that I have been buying online elsewhere. I didn't get to buy much today but for what I did purchase, the prices are reasonable. The shop is also well laid out and the staff very friendly. I will definitely be returning.”

“Lots of choice, the main issue is that there are far too many items without prices. Making the experience of shopping quite annoying. I usually put unpriced items back on the shelf. The manager needs to get this matter sorted as soon as possible, it's losing them sales.”

“We adore the pain au chocolate and M&S has the best French patisserie in town. I came from Pen-y-Lan especially for this specific item. We buying frozen ones and every morning we are indulging ourselves with fresh baked pain au chocolate and of course cup a tea! Very good prices of course! Just 2£ per bag with 10 pieces.”

“A spacious store and it wasn't too busy considering it was 3pm on 30th December. We didn't have to wait long at the checkout either.”

“Very clean and comfortable. There's a pub across the car park which is handy if you've had enough of driving. Town and various retail parks are a short drive away too. The location was very peaceful.”

“The staff here are superb. Such friendly, kind souls and nothing’s too much trouble. It’s a delight to grocery shop here. They sell a good selection of flowers and gift cards. There’s even tights and kids socks. Being a smaller store they’ve had to be selective with offering but I think they’ve got the balance just right. Great place.”

They treat all our kit as if it is their own and even when we have needed several vehicles Joe has always provided drivers that have the same respect and attitude he has. Big bonus that is veteran operated for us too. Wouldn't use anyone else!”

“My little boy went here for 3 years and i can not rate the staff and facilities high enough They are so caring, make you feel relaxed leaving your child in their care and flexible if you ever need to change a day. They is also the added bonus of the children can play in Jump exclusively each morning. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nursery setting”

“Used Barkers Lodge whilst on holiday for a day and night. Best kennels we’ve ever used. First time we’ve been shown inside the actual kennel which is heated and has ambient music. We also used the grooming facility which was a revelation. Our dog has never looked so good. Top quality dog kennels - fellow kennels take note this is how to do it. Well done Ellie and thank you.”
